About Deva Moses \ 'Bear Tootin...your getaway - go between'

My family and I live here in the Great Smoky Mountains and would never think of leaving it! It is such a beautiful place. We run a well drilling business in Sevierville and own cabins here and in Pigeon Forge. God has truly blessed us!

Deva Moses \ 'Bear Tootin...your getaway - go between' purchased this cabin in 2010

Why Deva Moses \ 'Bear Tootin...your getaway - go between' chose Tennessee

It is such a great location. It is very close to Gatlinburg and Cosby. You also can go to several Music theaters in Pigeon Forge and Dollywood.

What makes this cabin unique

The most unique benefit would be that the cabin is on a beautiful creek nestled against the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is absolutely gorgeous and there is a great fishing hole at the end of the road that only the locals know about!

Needs updating

  • 1 of 5

The cabin is in a good location. The jacuzzi does not work inside....the outside hot tub is not hot, our pool is warmer then it. The kitchen supplies are very old and in need to replacement. Called owners while there any no response from them. Paid for a week and left two days early. Both of us were very disappointed in this rental.

Relaxing!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was very cute and peaceful for 2 people and a dog. It was so relaxing being next to the creek and I did not see any traffic on the gravel drive. We followed the gps directions at night and it was a little hard to find. It was a very easy drive to Gatlinburg! I would recommend this cabin and any cabin from Bear Tootin!!

OK stay

  • 3 of 5

The cabin was clean, nicely furnished and in a quiet pretty location. The front porch rocking chairs were a nice addition. The bed was comfortable. But the cabin lacked a few details to make it a great stay. For example stocking the kitchen with basics like coffee filters, sugar etc. Without stores close by this was frustrating. The Jacuzzi bathtub jets did not work which was disappointing after a long hike in the mountains. Unfortunately the hot tub smelled like it was full of chemicals so we did not use it either. There were too many notes around that were threatening of additional fees if we smoked (we don't) turned the air conditioning down (we didn't) which made things feel less than friendly. We are always respectful guests and I think the message could be conveyed in a way that was clear but not so aggressive. So, overall I think the cabin experience fell short of our expectations.

Very nice and clean cabin. We really enjoyed the stay.

  • 4 of 5

The cabin was cute and clean. The bed was very comfortable. So many times, you get a bed not comfortable but this one was nice and not worn out. The brook behind the cabin was peaceful. I loved sitting on the back deck and just listening to it. I didn't realize the cabin was 15 miles from Gatlinburg. If I stayed at the cabin and cooked, it would b perfect but I didn't. We went into town each evening so it was a little far out for us but the drive was not bad or on curvy roads; just a little distance. I did love the cabin being on flat ground. So many times in the past, you have to drive up a mountain & steep mountains to get to some cabins. I would stay in the cabin again if I was planning on just enjoying the cabin, peace and quiet without going to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge everyday.
