Great holiday, great villa, great location!

  • 5 of 5

Villa Aspasia was everything we had hoped for. It is in a lovely setting and not a day passed that we didn't photograph the fantastic sunsets. We really enjoyed the birdsong each morning while having breakfast on the 1st floor terrace. The villa was very clean & well maintained with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The outside space was perfect as we had a choice of sitting areas and could enjoy an early evening cup of tea in some shade after a hot day on the beach! It was lovely to meet Thanasis, the owner and also neighbours Janet & Paul who all made us very welcome.

Stoupa was as lovely as it has always been, from the wonderful beaches to the excellent tavernas. We enjoyed a night-cap at To Steki several evenings but can't wait to return to try some of the other bars that also look very welcoming. Didn't really have a poor meal for the whole 2 weeks but we were a little disappointed with the spit roast lamb at Mellissas having read such glowing reviews. Far too many good meals to mention any particular one but we are so pleased we tried the 5 Brothers taverna as it was the best moussaka we have had in Greece.

All in all a very enjoyable holiday and would without doubt recommend (and already have!) Stoupa & Villa Aspasia

Fabulous Villa!

  • 5 of 5

This villa was just great. The views were absolutely stunning and the location quiet and relaxing. We did walk into Stoupa a few times which took just over 30 minutes each way but we also drove and found parking to be easy. If you want a quiet and relaxing holiday with all the facilities you need for a great self catering holiday then you can't beat this villa. The bonus is the close proximity to Stoupa and the surrounding area too. Thanks to Thanasis for a great holiday.

Peaceful, beautiful location, great house

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for 2 weeks with our teenage boys, and had a wonderful holiday. The house is comfortable and very well equipped. It's location is beautiful and provides a panoramic view of the whole coastline. The owners could not have been more helpful. For relaxing could not ask for a better holiday home.

Perfect base for a great family holiday.

  • 5 of 5

The villa was everything we expected and more. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The views are breathtaking. I could never tire of them.

The perfect base for a holiday in Stoupa. The location is great for exploring the area or just relaxing on the beach down in Stoupa.

Car essential.

We really hope to be back in the future.

A terrific villa for a relaxing holiday

  • 5 of 5

We had the pleasure of staying at this villa. The villa accurately reflects the description given. It was immaculately clean and the owners provided a very helpful and friendly service. The villa is modern, spaceous, well equipped and just about perfect for anyone looking for good quality accommodation in a beautiful location. The bedroom air conditioning and window fly screens are a boon during very hot weather.

The villa's location is within a spread community on the hillside outside the village of Stoupa, which for us provided the perfect, unspoilt, family seaside resort - plenty of friendly seafront tavernas, an uncrowded & clean sandy beach and safe, crystal clear seawater, refreshed by freshwater streams - fantastic!

Given the hillside location a car is necessary for shopping and amenity use. However, we actually enjoyed both the downhill and uphill walks from Stoupa - a nice 30 minutes of exercise after lazing at the beach.

We would recommend this villa, to anyone requiring this type of holiday.

Great house offering marvellous views

  • 5 of 5

The house was perfect for our family with 3 kids, it is really well-equipped, full kitchen and lots of storing space in every room apart from so many little details that really make the place a very special holiday house. The owners next door are very helpful and easy-going without ever intruding on the tourists´ privacy. The marvellous views of the sea and the hills from the terraces provided us with unforgetable images. We strongly recommend this place to people who look for the ideal place to explore the Peloponesis with its stunning beaches.

Stoupa can charm the the visitor during all seasons of the year. It is from the most beautiful places in Mani having natural hard beauty. In the East of the village there is the castle that once was the acropolis of the old town of Lefkto. Nikos Kazantzakis lived in Stoupa with Aleksis Zorba, working in the mines in Neo Proastio. It is the place where he wrote the novel 'Zorba the Greek'.

During the summer, the sea and the crystal clear water is a provocation. There are five beautiful beaches. The evenings you can enjoy the magical sunsets in the sea.

In Stoupa and the surrounding villages, one can find everything. There are supermarkets, butchers, bakeries, laundromats, pharmacists, etc as well as a health centre. Cars, mopeds and bicycles can be rented locally. There is a wide range of tavernas to choose from serving best quality food, also bars and traditional cafe. The people's known hospitality and the slow temps, compose a relaxing atmosphere
