A great inn

  • 5 of 5

My siblings and I spent two nights at the inn and the setting was perfect, as we were traveling in from different areas to visit our Mom in Westport. The inn offered both charm and convenience for our families -- tons of space, a well-stocked kitchen, great common area, lovely porch, WiFi, air conditioning, and plenty of privacy with its many bedrooms and bathrooms. The location is great; beautifully rural, but close to stores and restaurants. The owners were attentive and helpful, although we only had one small question, which they answered immediately. It was a great gathering spot for our families, and we would definitely stay here again.

We loved it!

  • 5 of 5

We left this wonderful home earlier today after staying 3 nights. The property is spacious and private. We had 5 woman who grew up together for a mini vacation. We were basically gone during the day; spending time in Newport and Providence. Both cities are about. 30 minute drive. All but two of us had our own room. There was private space for us, but great gathering space. We really enjoyed the living room that had plenty of seating, and the dining room as well. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes and silverware. We enjoyed breakfast there in the morning, but ate out every other meal. There was a tv and great internet service. Two fully functional bathrooms. A third bath, had a soaker tub, but no shower.

We did have an issue with no hot water the first morning. The water heater turned out to be toast and was replaced by the time we returned. To compensate us for the inconvenience, the owner offered a free breakfast at the restaurant she owns next door. The way they quickly resolved the issued and then offered the breakfast was outstanding. They are responsive. I texted her about no hot water and she was there within a few minutes.

Th unit also has a washer and dryer if you want to go home with clean clothes or wash in between. The towels were luxurious.

We enjoyed an evening sipping wine on the porch. You probably can tell, we loved the property and highly recommend. One last thing....look at the floors on the first floor. I'm sure they come from old growth forest. Truly amazing.

Best of Rhode Island getaway

  • 5 of 5

We truly enjoyed our one week stay at in Adamsville. The house itself is a wonderful vacation home, with a great deck and porch. The house is very roomy, modern, and nicely furnished. We usually enjoy cooling summer breezes through open windows, and this house has plenty. However, several days during our stay were unseasonably warm, and the window air-conditioning was much appreciated. We also enjoyed walking about 20 steps out of the house to have a great breakfast at "The Barn" restaurant (the cinnamon rolls are truly special). Other nice touches include fast wifi, washer and dryer, and a gas barbeque grill. We also used the beach pass for South Shore Beach in Little Compton provided by the owners (the area has other beautiful beaches as well). Other fun included bicycling around the country roads, buying ice cream at Gray's Store, visiting the local wineries, and eating great local seafood and vegetables. Adamsville is a unique location that provides a great base for a summer vacation for families, older persons, and everyone in between.

Mother's Day Weekend!

  • 5 of 5

Once again, we had a Wonderful Weekend at this Gracious Home! As always, the Owners were helpful and responsive.

My sisters, sister-in-law, daughters, niece and I had a most enjoyable, relaxing Mother's Day weekend at this comfortable home.

We found everything clean and in working order. We spent a lot of time on the back outside deck enjoying the Springtime weather. We enjoyed a special dinner in the lovely dining room and many chats in the cozy kitchen!

The proximity to the Barn Restaurant only enhanced our stay as it was fun to see the family groups arriving to celebrate Mom's Special Day!

This Wonderful Home makes all feel immediately " at Home!"

A Comfortable, Wonderful Home!

  • 5 of 5

We so enjoy this lovely home! The location is great for trips to Westport, MA or to Little Compton, RI! We also enjoyed many nice walks around the interesting neighborhood, as well.

However, this home itself, is so enjoyable to stay at- whether you are having a meal in the cozy, well-equipped kitchen or watching the Patriots win on the TV in the comfortable, spacious living room!

The Owners are very responsive. We had a concern regarding the TV and the Owners promptly resolved it for us.

You will not be disappointed if you are fortunate enough to stay at this lovely home!
