A beautiful, modern, 1 bedroom – 1 bath Condo. Granite counter tops in the kitchen and bath. Perfect for a couple, 2 singles or a couple & child. The bedroom has a new luxury king sized bed upgraded with soft cotton sheets and flat screed HD TV. The living room has an automatic gas fireplace, Flat screen HD TV and a comfortable sofa with queen sleeper. Perfect place for relaxing in front of the fire. Also included is premium cable, blue ray DVD player, a speaker docking station and free Wi-Fi. The sit out deck has a gas grill and patio set for two. It overlooks Sandsone Creek and in the winter/summer you get lovely views of the ski slopes and surrounding mountains. The creek also gives the condo soothing water sounds year round. So nice!

Convenient location with the free Vail shuttle right up the steps from the complex. 4 minutes to the Lionshead pedestrian bridge and 7 minutes to Vail Village. 1 free designated parking spot. Coin operated laundry located in the complex. My Husband and I love Vail. In 2012 we made our dream of owning a property in Vail come true (see our other listing) Soon after closing on the property we got engaged!!! We decided to rent our property to help pay for our wedding in La Paz, Bolivia. Our property rented so well...we were booked out of our own condo. So we decided to look for another.

Why Dina Castillo chose Northwest Colorado

We looked at so many properties all over Vail, (East and West) but we knew we wanted to be in the Sandstone area. It's the only neighborhood that overlooks the ski slopes. The bus rides are short, the stops are convenient and the views are to die for.

What makes this condo unique

When we saw this unit, I fell in love. It was so beautifully remodeled with high end finishes. A Bright and sunny, corner unit with it's own private walk sharing of hallways and the noise that comes with it. Also, it over looks Sandstone Creek. The noise of the water is so soothing. All you hear is the rushing water....and I even saw a trout!

We want to tell you how much we enjoyed staying in your condo. We especially liked the fireplace heater. It was really nice to sit in front of after a day of skiing. We will be looking to book the unit again about the same time next year.

Great Get Away!!

The property was very clean. We enjoyed the sound of the water right outside the patio door. We stayed several places on our trip and the king size bed in this condo was the most comfortable!! We would stay there again! Thanks for the directions to the condo through all the temporary construction. The weather was perfect and so was the aspens. Thanks again for a lovely place!

Very comfortable condo - nicely decorated and supplied. We had everything we needed. Convenient location. Owners were very responsive to questions. We most enjoyed the hike to Missouri Lakes. We would stay here again & recommend it to others.

Well equipped condo that makes you feel at home

The photos that Dina and Jeff have listed portray the condo exactly how it is. It's clean, well stocked, and has a lovely creek right behind the patio. We kept the door open pretty much the whole time we stayed there just to enjoy the sound of the creek. It's convenient to Vail Village and Lionshead Village and there's a hiking trail up the road from the condo. My only suggestion would be to invest in a knife sharpener. The knives were extremely dull and potentially dangerous to those using them. Other than that, it was a perfect stay. We would totally stay at Dina and Jeff's condo again!

lovely condo, great location.

The location, about halfway between the West Vail shopping area and the central Vail freeway exit , is close to supermarkets, gas, the liquor store - in fact, all of one's daily necessities are nearby. Once the construction of the I-70 underpass (around a quarter mile east on N Frontage Road) is finished, accessing the area around Lionshead will also be super quick and easy. The condo is far enough from the freeway to be free of that traffic noise that is often a problem in Vail.. Personally, I find the location ideal.

The condo is, in my experience (this was my second stay), very quiet. It has a little deck, more like a balcony, roomy enough for the gas grill (a very nice one, btw) and a couple of chairs, which overlooks a rushing mountain stream. The view out back, of forest and stream, is lovely, and, in the morning especially, the bird watching can be excellent. This, along with the constant sound of rushing water, is for me, what makes this condo special, though it's very nice in other ways as well: it's perfectly clean, comfortably furnished, and has a roomy, well-equipped kitchen. I have enjoyed both of my stays very much, and I look forward to returning next summer.

Great 1 bedroom in a perfect location!

Stayed the weekend for a baseball tournament with my son and found that the location was ideal to get around Vail. The unit was plenty big enough for the two of us and grilling on the deck, overlooking the river, was a delight.

This condo owned by Dina is very well managed. It is well stocked, immaculate and a good value. It is convenient to Vail Village and the grocery store so I would clearly rent it again. Dina is very attentive and helpful making the rental experience easy. It is very nicely decorated and the bed is very comfortable.

As with most things there is room for improvement. The tv in the bedroom did not work off the remote. I am sure you could call the cable provider to get instructions but who wants to bother when on vacation. The shower door is only dangerously hanging on its track and I am sure Dina will look into this. The sliding door to the balcony has no lock for the screen. This could be improved for security. My wife loved the raging brook but I found the noise much too loud. This was in July so maybe in Sept it's not a problem. Thus, keeping the door closed worked fine but that pretty much cuts off ventilation. The bedroom faced the parking lot so late at night (maybe on Friday) you may be awakened by late revelers if you open that window.

If you are looking for a view you will not have it here. The condo is pretty dark with little light. For us it was not an issue. It is very user friendly with only 2 stairs to climb and a short walk to the parking lot.

Remember, I would rent it again. I am only being so critical to be helpful to future renters.

Owner's Response: Dear NO SUGAR COATING As always we appreciate feedback from guests and we do our best to implement positive suggestions. However I'm a bit confused with the review that we received from you. We feel it’s misleading to future renters and want to clarify. 1- the TV in the bedroom . You did call Dina to let her know the TV was not working in the bedroom. She advised you to call Comcast for trouble shooting. You said it was not a big deal because the TV in the living room was working just fine. It’s very hard to troubleshoot the TV remotely, that is why we advise guests to call customer service directly. Sometimes it's just a matter of a previous guest accidentally changing the input settings, using the wrong remote or cable outages. 2- the shower door.The glass door is standard door used in showers everywhere. I find the description of "dangerously hanging" to be misleading. If something has broken? I'd have preferred you inform us of a breakage. 3-screen door lock. This goes without saying . A screen door is not meant for "security " . Let alone a screen door on a second floor balcony that could only be reached with an extension ladder. A screen door is meant to keep out flies, not burglars. The lock on the glass slider works fine. 4-"Raging Brook" I guess this one can only be chalked up to personal taste . As you stated yourself. Your wife loved it. As do the majority of guests who've stayed there. In fact it's been a highlight for many. There is a ceiling fan in the bedroom and also a portable fan to circulate the air. 5- bedroom facing parking and "late revelers" In this complex or any apartment building you will encounter other people . The off chance that one night “someone” could be loud is completely out of our control. It has its own private walk up and doesn’t share an entrance with any other unit. In fact this complex has been very quiet for us and for all our past guests. 6- the "View" Ok . If you're referring to a view of "Vail Mt.", The trees do partially block the view in the summer. But you can still see it. This doesn't mean there is NO view. The beautiful brook right outside the balcony and all of the trees is a view in itself. I guess a "view" is up to the viewer ? 7- “dark with little light” This one has me especially perplexed. It's just not true. It's a corner unit with many windows and recessed can lighting throughout the whole condo. Our listing photos show how bright the unit is. Regards, Jeff
