Cute retro art stay
We had a lovely relaxing time in our cute retro art house. Plenty of room for a family to chill. Fun in the art room.
Relaxing holiday in Wangaratta
Upon arrival the heater was already on which was a really nice gesture as it gets cold in Wang during June.
The house was inviting, clean and cosy.
Can’t wait to book again on our return to the region.
Thank you Darren & Family for choosing Amaroo Arte House for your recent trip to Wangaratta... You were great communicators, super neat and tidy... Glad you enjoyed your stay & your return is gladly welcomed, when you're heading back up this way again ;-)
A great little holiday at Amaroo Arte House.
Amaroo Arte House is a welcoming, homely property, in a very handy location for exploring Wangaratta and the surrounding area. The house is superbly equipped and ideal for two couples or families. Lots of extras provided, and much appreciated. Communication with the owner was excellent, thank you. Highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again if visiting this lovely part of Victoria.
Thank you very much Keith and Family for choosing to stay at Amaroo Arte House, we're glad you enjoyed your stay, whilst travelling to visit Wangaratta and surrounds... You were perfect guests and our cleaner passes on her gratitude, for how neat and tidy you left Amaroo - should you ever be heading this way again, we'd gladly welcome your return!
House was great, everything you need when going away and more. Nice peaceful area with everything close by.
Excellent communication with the host and the pricing is too good to miss out on.
Thanks for the great weekend escape
Thank you Matthew to you and your partner for choosing Amaroo for your recent stay, whilst visiting family and friends in Wangaratta... You were polite, respectful, neat and tidy guests and you're both welcome to return anytime you're heading up this way :-)
Homely, cosy and artistic place.
A lovely, family friendly and relaxing house. Loved the artistic flavor. Very clean and had all the basic facilities needed.
This house would have been excellent with a better heating system
Thank-you Ratnayake for your review, we're glad you and your family enjoyed your stay and that you found it family friendly, relaxing, artistic and very clean... We are very sorry, that you found the heating to be insufficient; with the temperature of 23 and 24 degrees for your 2 night stay, it's surprising that the heating was required, however, your suggestion will be taken on-board... The current Rinnai 1001 Commercial Heater which is installed in the lounge, is primarily used to heat large open areas such as school halls and gymnasiums and over the past 20 months has proved to be highly sufficient for the space of the home; other reviews both here and elsewhere, regarding heating, are in stark contrast to this one ( "toasty heating" - "warm, comfortable and inviting" - "heater going when we arrived" ) ... It's a shame you never contacted us during your stay, as we would've been able to drop additional heating around, to compliment the Rinnai Heater and the Radiator Heater in Bedroom 3...
We wish you the best with your future travels... Vanessa & Family
Great home with a retro feel. Very welcoming!
Our second stay at this home was fabulous. Everything we needed was there...even our dog was catered for. We loved it and hope to be back again next year. Thank you Vanessa :)
Thank you Desley for your kind review and glad you all enjoyed your stay again at Amaroo - You're all welcome to return anytime you're heading to the region!

As fortunate owners of The Art House, we would like to respect and acknowledge the Bangerang Pangerang People, the traditional custodians of the land on which the home is built and of its surrounds. We urge you if the weather permits during your stay and if you are capable of physically doing so, to take the self-guided tour of the Bullawah Cultural Trail.
The Bullawah Cultural Trail project was created to celebrate and share the ancient stories, knowledge and skills of our local Indigenous people. You'll discover ancient Aboriginal stories, spirituality, culture, food, sculptures, interpretive signage, the Marmungun Rock and the Bush Tucker Garden along the 2.4km self-guided tour, along the Ovens River. As you journey the trail, Uncle Freddie Dowling and his friends whom assisted in the creation of the trail, invite you to share their stories, learn more of how they lived here and the importance of country within their culture.
