This gorgeous lakefront home in Harrison is the place for your next vacation! With three separate decks offering beautiful views of Lake Coeur d'Alene, a private hot tub, and your own private dock down a long flight of stairs, up to seven guests will love it here.

Located in a quiet spot between Harrison and Coeur d'Alene, you'll enjoy over 80 parks nearby, and over 40 hikes to explore in the Coeur d'Alene National Forest!

The house itself has a bright and welcoming atmosphere. In the main living area, you'll find an assortment of furniture in front of a flatscreen TV with cable and a Blu-ray player. A fully equipped kitchen with granite counters and a gas range has everything you need to make the perfect meal.

There is counter seating for three, and four will fit around the dining table for dinner with a view.

Step out the sliding glass doors for an outstanding view of the lake from the upper deck with patio furniture, a gas grill, and a small coffee table. On the lowest level of the deck is the private hot tub overlooking the lake, and a long flight of stairs leads down to the private dock and swim ladder.

Downstairs are the two bedrooms - one has a queen bed with a flatscreen TV and the other has a double bed. Both have access to a shared full bath, as well as to the patio and hot tub outside. Two futons upstairs will sleep more guests, and a shared half bath makes this home suitable for a total of seven.

There's a private washer/dryer for any laundry that needs refreshing.

This house is perfect for a family or a group of friends - the lake is great for swimming, fishing, and boating if you have one. Cyclists should hit the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes for a great ride with exceptional beauty, and outdoor enthusiasts will love all the wilderness nearby. Nice property. Relaxing, quiet, and peaceful.

We did not have trouble with the neighbors as previous renters have had. We were quiet and kept to ourselves. We enjoyed the close proximity to hiking trails, and it was only about 20 minutes to town.

It is not worth it...there are plenty of other houses on both this road and off of 97 to rent with similar views that will allow your family vacation to be an actual vacation. Instead, what we got was to spend a long weekend trying to see how quiet we can be while eating dinner, playing in a lake, and trying to enjoy a hot tub. We got to the house just before 4pm on Saturday, and were shushed by the neighbor for the first time at 5:30 when we were grilling hamburgers for an early dinner. He came out again, called up to us, and made his signature motion of the weekend, the index finger over the lips shush motion, while we were eating dinner on the upstairs patio. It was 6:30pm. He shushed us three more times before 9pm. We ate dinner inside the next two nights to avoid this aggravation.

The next day, while we were sitting on floaties in the lake, with a radio playing low (Bob Marley music), he cam out, sat in his boat docked right next to us, and watched us...literally watched us, fo over an hour before taking off. When my wife tried to say hello, maybe switch things over to a better foot, he looked at us and turned away. We were shushed once more while grilling that night.

That night, while sitting in the hot tub, two adults and three teens/pre-teens, the neighbor cam out with what had to be an industrial movie-set sized spot light and flashed it at us repeatedly, saying "are you even trying to be quiet?" and telling us how close his house is and how WE are very rude and then said "party's Over." Mind you, we were sitting and talking, just audible enough to hear each other over the jets, but by no means yelling. Oh, and it was 9:05 when he did this. That was the last time we sat in the hot tub at night, as the kids were scared of getting yelled at again.

Our third day there was less eventful, only two shushes from him! But the damage was done. The kids didn't go down to the lake at all that day for fear of having the creepy neighbor watching them again. We ate all our meals inside so as to avoid the embarassment of another adult shushing us. We were walking on eggshells.

Keep in mind, there are signs posted everywhere saying to mind the quiet hours of 10pm-8am. If the neighbor knows of these hours (he has to), he doesn't adhere to them. We got shushed roughly a dozen times over the three days we were there, and all before 9pm, save for that one time at 9:04. He will push and bully you until you just give up and don't even bother going outside.

This is no way to spend a family vacation. Shame on Vacasa for allowing this house to continue to be rented. When I called them while we were there, Mike informed me this wasn't the first time the neighbor had been an issue this summer...and yet they still allow the house to be rented?!!

We feel duped. It was a waste of money, and a sad loss of what could have been a great vacation. Please don't repeat our mistake. Rent a different house!

Owner's Response: We are very sorry to see this is the experience this guest had while staying at the home. The neighbor can be hit and miss in bothering our guests. We have found that if our guests are respectful there isn't usually an issue. We will follow-up with the neighbor to try and improve our rapport with him so our guests can enjoy the home.

Amazing with a let down

We arrived the first night about 7:00 & everyone else got there just about 7:30. We were exploring the house. Freaking out at our view when the neighbor came out at 7:30 & asked us to be quite. We were not even being loud & it was not even late. The house was fully stocked with what we would need. The view was amazing. The hot tub was great & the next day we stayed all day on the dock. About 2:30 we came up from the dock & spent the rest of the after noon in the hot tub with some music playing not too loud & enjoying our conversation. When the neighbor came out & started trimming his whole yard. It wasn't that bad it was noise but it was ok. We knew he was doing it all on purpose when he went & got a metal saw. Sat directly on the other side of the fence. He sat on the ground & just ran the saw on a pile of wood & then a pile of rocks. For a solid two hours. It was 6:30 in the evening. It was so uncalled for. We went up on the balcony to see what he was doing & we knew it was just to bother us. We understand he is a full time resident & we 100% respected that but the fact that he is mad the home next to him is a vacation rental & he decides to sabotage our stay is uncalled for.

The wifi also did not work with the password we were given. & there was no network connected to the name I had. I called about it but it was unable to be fixed unless someone came out to the house the next morning to change the password on site.

We loved our stay minus the neighbor. It just sucked it had to be that way. Especially when he was doing it on purpose:(

We enjoyed our last minute visit to this house. The Vacasa staff was very helpful and checked in with us to make sure we had everything that we needed. The view is amazing, especially for morning coffee. We planned accordingly with the stairs leading to the lake. We packed plenty of food and drink to the dock/boat in the am to help limit our trips back up. A little exercise coming back up felt good

Neighbor wasn't as bad as expected.

When we showed up he gave us a gesture to be quiet, but didn't hear from him after that. We were 6 guys so things were inevitably loud, but we were pleasantly surprised to not get any complaints.

The place is very nice and it was a great stay overall.

Two Week Stay

When we arrived the view and the area was great, the location is awesome if you are looking for something a little more secluded and quiet and the dock is very easy to maneuver around with any kind of boat. There are exactly 144 steps from the dock to the house which showed me just how out of shape I am. Great family holiday location.
