Located directly adjacent to the 8th green (Par 5) of the Telluride Golf Club, this manicured 6 bedroom, 7 1/2 bath custom built residence is nestled on a knoll top and provides all day sun, unobstructed views of some of Colorado's most spectacular 13,000' - 14,000' mountains.
Originally design by Tommy Hein, renowned architect of Telluride, each room enjoys multiple unobstructed views of mountains including the kitchen and living area.
The residence is a split level mountain contemporary home design by the architect to capture the best views. Every room except the bunk room has a view of either Wilson, Sneffels Range or San Sophia (Ski Mountain). The 6 bedrooms, each having their own bath, is perfect for multiple family/friends gatherings.
The home features a large kitchen and four separate dining areas including two that are outdoors. The large living area with large fire place and ample seating and incredible views with floor to ceiling windows create a natural gathering spot after a long day of outdoor activities.
The four private patios create intimate outdoor gathering spots. The east patio features an 8-seat fire table and fountain. Just off the kitchen to the west is a breakfast area with a grill, smoker and griddle. On the lower level is a secluded patio with hot tub. Adjacent to the hot tub area is the west patio with unobstructed views of Wilson and Sneffels with a fire pit and built in stone bench, a perfect spot to end the day with a cup of hot chocolate or glass of wine.
We are members of the Telluride Ski & Golf Club and are glad to pass along discounts to spa, work out facility, greens fees and lift tickets ($75/day) to guests. Each rental also include two transferrable ski passes that can be used during your stay. This fringe benefit is valued at $180 - $236/day during the ski season depending on the time of your stay. This also allows the guests to store ski at The Peaks or the Telluride Ski & Golf kiosk located at the base of Lift 4 at discounted rates.
The residence is conveniently located less than 2 miles to the Mountain Village core which includes some of Telluride’s finest boutiques, ski/bike shops and restaurants. Access to Telluride is as simple as taking Dial-A-Ride to Mountain Village and then riding the free Gondola through the ski resort to downtown Telluride.
There is no shortage to the outdoor activities at your fingertips from this residence from world class alpine skiing at Telluride Ski Resort, ranked the No. 1 ski resort in North America in 2013 by Conde Nast to cross country skiing, snow shoeing, hiking fishing, and biking - all just outside your back door!

I live in Houston, TX where I enjoy my profession as a commercial banker. This is not only my 2nd Home, it is my retirement home. As such, I think you find the home warm and comfortable and well equipped for your stay.
I grew up in Baton Rouge, LA and went to LSU (promise ...not fanatical like most of my friends). I have lived that past 20 years in Houston and love, love, LOVE the mountains year around.

Unique location offering the best of both worlds in Telluride directly on the golf course and a stones throw to skiing.
What attracted me to this property were the views. The house was designed by an renown local architect, Tommy Hein. Tommy designed the home so that no matter where you might be standing in the home, you would have an incredible, unobstructed view of the mountains.
I was also attracted to the large kitchen as I love to cook and the ability to have a grill off the kitchen on the deck that overlooks the golf course.
Lastly, I wanted a place where two to three large families could come together and have fun in the mountains. I love Telluride! I hope that you will too ...whether you stay at my place or anywhere else, you can't get here soon enough.
