Come enjoy a relaxing week at the beach while taking in all the exciting Charleston attractions. This renovated oceanfront home has a private boardwalk to the award winning IOP beach. You can't beat the LOCATION! The home is tucked away in a serene, quiet neighborhood away from the parking and beach goers, yet within walking distance to the pier, restaurants and shops. Easy access to the island connector bridge allows you to bypass the heavy traffic on Palm Blvd and Wild Dunes.

The house sits on a professionally landscaped double lot which offers panoramic views of the ocean and features an open floor plan allowing for an abundance of natural sunlight. The master bedroom has a king bed and private bathroom. Both the master bedroom and living room open to a screen porch with spectacular ocean views. A second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has two double beds with an adjacent full bathroom. The large screen porch faces the ocean and is perfect for enjoying the sea breeze or for entertaining your guests. Numerous palm and oak trees surround the home for privacy from the adjacent neighbors.

There is a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, luxury linens, bath and beach towels, beach chairs, flat screen tvs, dvds, games, indoor bluetooth speaker, and wireless secure internet. The patio offers an easy dining option with a seating area and gas grill. And after a day in the sun you can refresh yourself in the outdoor shower.

Your visit to this beautiful island and oceanfront home is a perfect opportunity for friends and family to gather and create lasting memories.

Please Note: Pets are NOT permitted. Smoking is NOT permitted. Maximum of eight overnight guests allowed and up to four cars parked in driveway due to city ordinance. Peak summer (June -August) weekly rental rate is $3850 (plus tax) from Saturday to Saturday only. There are NO other fees.

PLEASE INQUIRE ABOUT OFF-SEASON RATES: mid-September through December with 4 night minimum stay (exception of holiday weeks which require 7 night minimum stay).

Wonderful house with everything you need. Much of the living area is the porch which we loved. That is where we spent all our time when not out exploring. Plenty of kitchen supplies, towels, etc. Very quiet. Attentive owners.

Great vacation accommodations!

I would highly recommend a stay at Oceanfront Home! Mary was very helpful throughout. She was available to answer any questions and gave great recommendations for area attractions / restaurants.

The house was very clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals. (The knives needed sharpening, but that was the only concern.) The beds are comfortable and linens were good quality. We spent the week with our family of six and had plenty of room. As others have mentioned, the screened porch is a wonderful place to relax and share meals.

It's a great location for an easy drive into Charleston and very short distance down the boardwalk to the beach.

We will definitely return the next time we travel to Charleston.

Wonderful beachfront home on a beautiful lot- perfect for celebration and relaxation.

As always, Mary has provided a wonderful home for a vacation stay on the Isle of Palms. The house is well appointed on the lot, with beautiful ocean views, breezes, and wildlife. You feel as if you are truly in a private location with lush landscape, and yet shops, restaurants and the grocery store are within walking distance. Our entire family enjoyed our stay here, and daytime guests enjoyed the yard, screened porch, large family room, covered areas, and grassy lawn. Perfect for special events including photographs and outdoor fun.

A relaxing family getaway

My wife, myself and our family of 4 children stayed here for a week long vacation. It was wonderful! Mary, the owner, was so nice and easy to work with and very attentive to our needs and concerns. The home had a true feeling of being at the beach and the views from their back porch were spectacular. The home had easy beach access via their private boardwalk. They had all the amenities: outside shower, plenty of beach towels, ocean toys for the kids, fully operational kitchen, Wifi access, to name a few. And within a very short driving distance to downtown historic Charleston. Would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Don't overlook this home. It was perfect.

1966 High School Girlfriend's Getaway a Huge Success!

We are a group of 5 High School Mates from 1966, and attempt a trip every year or two. This year's trip, taken October 20 to 27, was a Huge Success! The pictures of this Beachfront property, on VRBO, turned out to be exactly what we encountered on arrival. The Beach House was immaculate, both inside and out, and provided amenities in the form of beach chairs, towels, etc. The owner was prompt, courteous and thorough in communicating, and took specific measures to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Restaurant recommendations were spot-on, along with other suggestions on grocery shopping, spa locations, etc. We agreed to give this property a 5 STAR rating. Fabulous...but, not fussy!

Isle of Palms is a beautiful, family-oriented beachfront community located just 20 minutes from Charleston and the airport. Charleston was voted top city in the US the last 3 years in a row by Conde Nast. Downtown King St ranks among the top 10 shopping streets in the US, as well as several world class restaurants. Visit historic plantations, museums and tours and learn about its 300 year history. Many cultural events and festivals take place on the famous Marion Square.
