About the property

The Sandcastle - Fireplace, Siletz Bay frontage, Wifi, ground floor!

1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom Condo with Fireplace, and Oceanfront access.

Queen bed, fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, TV, Internet, and washer-dryer.

A weekend stay is barely time to explore possibilities in Lincoln City…but it’s a good start!

The Sandcastle provides a very comfortable home base to enjoy the coast. Ever-changing driftwood landscape, Siletz bay, pounding Pacific surf and the Taft Historic District are at your doorstep. If the weather is rainy, enjoy games or TV in the cheery living room with fireplace or make a memory with a cozy driftwood bonfire on the beach. If sunny, explore the nearby aquariums, Farmer’s Market, souvenir shops, casino, Tanger Outlet Mall and miles of sandy beach. Dig clams at low tide in Siletz Bay and fly kites above ocean waves. Treat yourself to world-famous Mo’s Restaurant on the bay in the historic district, enjoy shopping at the many souvenir shops, or Pirate Dan’s Bakery across the street.

The Sandcastle is easily accessible on the ground level, with sliding glass door and waterfront balcony view of Siletz Bay and the Pacific. Guests appreciate the well-stocked kitchen and amenities such as the fireplace, TV, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. It is perfect for a romantic get-away for 2, or family of 4.

About Ben Reich

I recently graduated college with an accounting degree, and got married in October 2015 to the love of my life! Shelley and I met on the soccer field, and discovered that we both enjoy hiking and being outdoors alot!

Ben Reich purchased this condo in 2013

Why Ben Reich chose Coastal Oregon

With my dad's encouragement, I purchased this property and furnished it. It's so nice to have a place right on the water's edge, and the sunsets are amazing! This condo is in the historic Taft district, and is within walking distance to all kinds of souvenir and glass shops, and restaurants...a tourist's paradise! My wife and I love the hiking at Cascade Head, just north of here, off Highway 101.

What makes this condo unique

The condo building is well-maintained; I like it's appearance from the street. Also, this ground level condo was particularly attractive and easy to access from the parking lot.

Lovely condo!

  • 3 of 5

This is a nice condo with a gorgeous view! Got to watch seals frolicking for hours! A couple complaints: the hide a bed is horrible! And I wish the cleaning people had cleaned the outside of the slider door so you can appreciate the spectacular view, but there were cleaning supplies on hand and we took care of it. The worst part, no fault of the owners, but there is major construction going on between the building and the highway. Instead of sounds of the sea, it is the constant hum of heavy equipment, the whole time we were there, including all day Saturday. We did love the place but that is our honest feedback.

Was easy to find, get the keys, and relax. Very nice place with good view. Close to town but not crowded. Good parking. We would like to stay again sometime.

Amazing View!!

  • 3 of 5

Lay out of condo was great. Plenty of room for 2-4 people. Kitchen could use new skillets and bed could use new pillows. Cleaning service had not cleaned before we arrived but owner gave a generous refund for inconvenience. Great neighborhood for long evening walks and good food is nearby😆

Excellent location, very relaxing!

  • 5 of 5

The condo was great! It had all the conveniences of home, and you just couldn't beat the location. My wife and I are exploring possible retirement locations, and Ben's condo was situated in just the right place to be able to look at most of the Oregon coast. The property was excellently maintained, and we had no problems of any significance while we were there. Great views, good food nearby, and nature was a few feet from the front door. Thanks, Ben. I would stay there again in a heartbeat, and will recommend it to my friends if they are planning a vacation anywhere near his condo.
