My wife and I have been living in Ouray since 1980. We lived in the Pricco house from 1980 to 1997. We built a house, just to the north of the Pricco house, on a vacant lot also owned by my Grandmother. We ran Pricco's Restaurant from 1983 until 2006, in the building my Grandfather built as a grocery store in 1906. My wife and I raised two children in Ouray, and up until January of this year were taking care of my Mother and Father in the house you will be staying in. My mother was born in the Pricco house. Ouray has been a very comfortable town to spend so much time in. We hope you find the same comforts in our home.

Vickie Cramp purchased this house in 1912
It is a very clean restored Victorian style home. It has plenty of yard around the house so you won't feel crowded. Beautiful views surround you any direction you look. A home with much history.
The Pricco house is centrally located in the town of Ouray, within walking distance to all venues in the town. Restaurants, shops, pubs and adventure trips/rentals are easily accessed by walking.
The beautiful little Victorian home was a wonderful place for us to stay. It was very clean and had everything we needed to have a very nice stay. We even had two big bucks in the back yard. The owners were delightful to work with. We had a wonderful time and will stay here again when visiting beautiful Ouray Colorado
My wife and I were thrilled with the property. The house was the perfect place to stay while we hiked in the mountains. The owners were warm and friendly and, even though they were out of town when it happened, they arranged for us to get into the house when we locked ourselves out.
We highly recommend this property.
We had a wonderful time in Ouray. The house was immaculately clean, the kitchen was well stocked and the sleeping arrangements were perfect for our group. The house is well situated in town, close to restaurants, stores and hiking. The owner made herself available to us in case we needed anything, which we did not.
We highly recommend this property. We loved our time spent in this house.
Very well maintained house, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, nicely decorated in the Victorian Style. Very comfortable- there were 5 of us and everyone was accommodated quite well. There is ample off-street parking on the side of the house- we had 3 full size pickups, they all fit with room to spare. We were dirt bike riding a lot of the passes in the area (Engineer, Imogene, Tom Boy, etc) and this was the perfect location for that- just ride the bikes from the house! The Ouray Hot Springs pool is just down the street- about 300 yards.
Vickie, the owner, was extremely nice and just lives two doors down. I highly recommend this rental.
Thanks Vickie, we had a great time!
We loved our stay in Ouray, and this house was perfect for us. We were a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids aged 4 and 6) on a road trip from Fort Collins. Ouray is gorgeous and it was so nice to be able to walk to the hot springs, walk into town, do hikes from home, and sit on the front porch and enjoy the view. The kids enjoyed the deer in the backyard! Box canyon falls was great, the kids loved the mine tour and panning for gold.
Vickie and Bob are great hosts - even stopping by to see if there was anything we needed. Beds were comfortable, location was perfect, and the home had everything we could want. We will stay here, again, whenever we come through Ouray.
There were great books on Ouray history and things to do. Front porch enabled us to relax and "people-watch".
Guided jeep tours and jeep and ATV rentals.
