Located in the gated Puamana community. A highly desirable and rare end-unit facing the ocean, this one bedroom, two bath, single-level, one story townhome rental features an enlarged and expanded living room and bedroom resulting in additional square footage in both the living areas

and the bedroom.

With a southern exposure, it is very light; bright; and sunny throughout the beautiful Maui days. There is a peek/partial view of the surfing beach; the ocean; and the Southern tip of Lanai from our entry lanai and the rear lanai. Not a panoramic view but it's just so very nice to see the ocean and the island of Lanai. Please see our photos.

Located just 90 steps from Puamana's seasonally sandy beach and ocean access for surfing; boogie boarding; swimming; relaxing on the beach; or just relaxing on the expansive grass area overlooking the surf and the neighbor island views. Awesome sunset viewing here! We try never to miss one when we are lucky enough to be on Maui!

Puamana usually has a wonderful, sandy beach, but big surf and storms can borrow our sand overnight and leave us without any beach and with a rocky ocean entry. Sometimes the sand comes back within days and sometimes it takes quite a bit longer. It's impossible to predict.

Puamana Beach Park, a public beach park with showers and a sandy beach entry at most times of the year is immediately south and adjacent to Puamana. Waves here tend to be a bit smaller and gentler than at "Hot Sands"/Puamana beach. This is generally a good place to launch SUP's or kayaks and is also a surfing beach. There is a private, gated access directly connecting Puamana to Puamana Beach Park at the South end of our property.

We are a short walk to the amazing "quiet" ocean pool; the gazebo; the tennis court; and the clubhouse or an even shorter walk to the Dolphin pool.

Our unit was completely remodeled in late 2015 and features an all new kitchen with granite counter tops; all new appliances; all new custom cabinets; and all new fixtures. Both bathrooms were completely redone with dual vanities in the master bathroom and a spacious, tiled shower. The second bath has a tiled shower/tub combo. Each has granite counter tops and all new fixtures. Wood floors throughout with new tile flooring in each bathroom.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need for an enjoyable vacation: blender; microwave; coffee maker; and dishwasher.

There is an ironing board and iron--you won't be using that!--42' flat screen TV in the living room; DVD player; 32' flat screen TV in the bedroom with a basic cable package; Free wireless internet; telephone answering machine; free local phone service; air conditioning in the living room and the bedroom; ceiling fans throughout the home; bed linens; towels; a new washer and dryer; and a propane gas BBQ grill. Two high-back beach chairs are waiting for you. We pick up the cleaning fees for stays over 7 days!

The sunny and open rear lanai has easy access for your bicycles; beach gear; card-playing; relaxing; having pu-pu's; BBQing; and features the same peek view of the ocean and the island of Lanai.

About Property Owner

After having stayed in Puamana numerous times over the years since the late 1970's, we were in the fortunate position to be able to purchase our unit and jumped at the opportunity. Since our purchase, we have completely remodeled the interior and the lanai areas; upgraded the furnishings; and are finally ready to share our home as a vacation rental. We have decorated the unit 'Hawaiian 'style' and hope that you are as comfortable in our home away from home as you are in your own home.

Why Property Owner chose Maui

If you enjoy Maui but haven't been to Puamana, we think that you are in for a treat. Away from the noise and crowds of Kaanapali, Puamana is a serene; secure; and beautiful spot to enjoy; relax; and rejuvenate. Close to all the activity in Lahainatown, the harbor; shopping; restaurants; and a short drive to the beaches; sites; and restaurants of Kaanapali; Kahana; Napili; and Kapalua.

What makes this townhome unique

Our unit has a light; bright; and sunny southern exposure. Our end-unit location has more sunlight; and as important, we have the benefit of the ocean breezes day and night. We have a partial view of the ocean and the island of Lanai. Our rear lanai is sunny throughout the day and shady during the late afternoon and dinner hours. We think that we have a great location within Puamana. We are directly across from the seasonally-sandy beach; one of two ocean access points within the complex; and the evening sunset viewing from the expansive grass area overlooking the surf. All that is 80 steps from our front door. The only building between you and the beach is one building of larger ocean front units as shown in our photos.

Maximum occupancy is two adults. Please forward names of intended occupants confirm date 'in' and date 'out' your address your contact phone number and your e-mail address. Your information is then forwarded to our licensed Maui property management company for follow-up, which occurs within 24 hours. They handle all the deposits and payments. They are also available during your stay in case anything requires attention. They will request a 3 nights stay deposit by credit card. The final payment is due 45 days prior to arrival and is paid by check. Reservations made less than 45 days early require full payments. Cancellation fee is $40 after the reservation is confirmed. After the final payment, the reservation is non-refundable unless the unit is resold. Optional travel insurance is available. Hawaii tax of 13.42% is added to rental. Hawaii tax ID: TA-158-286-6432-01 $49 accidental damage insurance required. $10 Puamana fee/day/+ tax charged to each rental includes one vehicle

AMAZING Home-away-from home

From the moment we walked in the door I knew this was the place for us. It was our third stay in Puamana with the first two being ocean front units. This was by far our favorite unit with the updated décor, cleanliness and all the amenities we needed. It felt very quiet and private and just steps away from watching the surfers and the beautiful sun sets. I would definitely recommend this home-away-from- home for a couples get away. We will be back!!

perfect get away

My wife and I loved our 10 days on Maui. from check-in to check-out everything went smoothly and efficiently so that all we needed to do was enjoy our vacation. This property is perfect for a couple. The rental is clean, beautifully decorated and in a prime location. We walked to Lahaina most mornings for breakfast then walked back to start our adventures. In the afternoon we would cook a meal and eat on the patio listening to the waves break on the beach. A few days we just lounged at the condo and walked the 50 steps or so to the beach. We consider this stay as one of our all time favorites. Looking forward to coming back and staying here again.

Absolutely perfect!

This home met more than our expectations! Not only was it super clean but it really felt like home. plus you seriously can't beat the location. Just a few steps from the beach and luckily there was a south swell so we got to surf right near our unit. Absolutely perfect and will definitely be staying here again. Much mahalos to the owners!

Great beach rental in Puamana

Whenever we go to Lahaina, which is a lot as I used to live there, we always want to stay in Puamana. It is such a great little community on the south side of Lahaina. It is just far enough away from downtown to be quiet but close enough to walk or ride bikes to the downtown area. Sean and Gretchen are great hosts and, because of that, we have stayed at their place 3 times now. The place is great! It is right across the street from the beach area and a fun little surf spot. It is literally a 30 second walk to get into the surf so pretty nice! Also, the inside of the place is updated and has everything you need. A great kitchen and living room, bedroom and master bath. I would recommend this for anyone coming as a couple to Maui...much better than staying in the resorts in Kaanapali.

Just Maui'd Canadians

We so enjoyed your beautiful home - Couldn't have asked for anything better as we prepared for our wedding. The unit was well equipped and very comfortable. Quick access to the pools and beach area. Also nice to be within walking distance from Puamana Beach Park (where we held a pre-wedding BBQ) as well as to Lahaina's town centre.

We married at Baby Beach on Aug 15th, and enjoyed a few more restful days at Puamana.

We hope to return someday and book your home again... Thank you for a lovely holiday!
