THE ENTIRE STRUCTURE FOR 18 PEOPLE.

The building is composed of a mansion built in 1840 during the Gran Duke Leopoldo II of Tuscany's reign, that has been recently restored, without altering its original characteristics.
The outside fronts have maintained their originality, while inside the building, most part of the ancient hand-crafted brick floors has been restored, as well as the ceilings with their old wooden beams that had been blackened by the smoke of the mantelpieces, which were once the only source of heating; the old irregular walls and the arched ceilings have been preserved, too.
The old forniture makes the place comfortable and charming, respecting the ancient rural Sienese traditions.
The place is particularly sunny thanks to a wide natural meadow that lays south of the building, alternating with the woods, and that is at the guests' disposal.
The villa is rented as a whole building with the following options:
Independent villa; sleeps up to18 (9 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms with shower).
Independent villa; sleeps up to 22 (11 bedromms , 9 bathrooms with shower,1 bathrooms with whirpool bath and 1 bathrooms with shower for Turkish bath, chromotherapy, whirlpool).
Pool opens from 1st June to 30th September.
Included in the price: electricity, gas, hot water, linen for bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, weekly change of the linen, use of laundry and ironing facilities, final cleaning, taxes. Two weeks stay will be offered a typical Tuscan dinner, outside or in the separate restaurant room.
we booked this fantastic apartment Gaia with some friends and everything was perfect. Throughly enjoyable stay, clean and very well maintained house. impressed by the piece and the quite, very spacious rooms and well furnished kitchen, we spent an amazing holiday!
the owner was so kind and helpful when we arrived.
we high recommend this property.
We have had the most wonderful and amazing time in a place as near to paradise as one can imagine. 10 people ,celebrating the 50 th anniversary of our wedding in 1965.our two sons ,their wives,3granchildren and my sister.
We had the exclusive use of the beautiful house and extensive grounds.
Franco and everyone their made our stay very special, nothing was too much trouble for them.we were treated to some of their beautiful home made pizza, and later some of their local wine.
Our grandchildren really enjoyed the pool,as did their parents.we had family games of cricket and our sons and their wives made use of such amazing space to keep fit by running free throughout the grounds and surrounding forest
I will keep Im my heart the wonderful sight of our arrival. When our 3grandchildren got out of the cars and with arms outstretched ran free across the meadow ,such a beautiful and moving sight which I will keep in my heart and mind forever.thank you Franco and all ,for such a magical anniversary holiday.one of our daughter in laws is a professional chef so she enjoyed creating fantastic meals for us all, this included her and our son going down to buy all the local produce.but we believe that the catering provided by the hosts is wonderful according to some reviews
We shall recommend you to everyone!!!
Podere Incrociati rises in the heart of the Montagnola Senese, just 15 km/9 miles from Siena and 75 km/47,5 miles from Florence, among the greenery of age-old oaks, holm-oaks and chestnut-trees.
It is an ideal place to take a relaxing holiday far from the city din, among the peace of the country, in contact with an endless cultural heritage within a stone's throw from the sea and the most important Tuscan cities of art.
Thanks to its high position (500 mt./1640 ft. above sea level) you will enjoy a well-aired summer suitable for walks in the nearby woods, crossed by several paths, catching sight of charming landscapes, lots of medieval villages and Romanesque parish churches.
There are thousands of paths through Montagnola Senese, which is a hillock in the heart of the Sienese area.
During the Middle Ages, these paths were connected to the ancient 'Via Francigena', the important road link between Rome and the rest of Europe.
Other Activities: wine tours, tours around the area (Chianti, Val d'Orcia, San Gimignano, Volterra),
cooking classes, horseback riding lessons.
