Guestbook comments from the owner

Hi Birute,

Thanks for a lovely stay. The suite was so perfect for my family and dogs. It was such a beautiful weekend all round and was really nice that my mother-in-law could experience this too. Would love to stay again. Nice to have the late check out too!!

Perfect accommodation, everything we needed for our weekend get away.

  • 4 of 5

Great location, just steps away from the beach. About a 7 min. drive to downtown.

We really loved this 2 bedroom suite as it was perfect for our weekend get away. The suite was very clean and obviously well looked after. We loved the little patio at the front where we enjoyed a glass of wine and watched the world go by. So happy that I was allowed to bring my dog and he too enjoyed his stay (we think...) Very peaceful the first night.

Unfortunately 3 families from Idaho moved in upstairs on our second day and kept us awake till close to 1am: running child up and down the property above our heads, lots of things being dropped on the floor, people walking. If not for this our stay would have received 5 stars.

We had a wonderful time. The Suite was beautiful and very welcoming. It was very clean and well organized. It was close to the transit system and downtown Victoria. It is in a quiet area with the beach and Beacon Hill Park very close.

I loved staying there, it's a great place in a beautiful neighbourhood. I was there by myself but it would be perfect for a few friends or a family.

Cosy retreat

  • 5 of 5

We traveled from New Zealand with a 4 month old and a 22 month old and this was a great place to be based and feel like home. Place was very tidy- just like the photos. Close to downtown and close to the supermarket and shops too- very handy for eating and cooking at home (we had the supermarket cook and prepare local crab for us which was a great gourmet experience while looking after babies and not being able to go to restaurants and the nearby sushi shop was fantastic). Kitchen had all we needed and laundry was handy too (although the drier didn't appear to work very well). Victoria was a wonderful place to explore and stay and we would stay here again if we return. Thanks a lot.

Very nice experience at Birute/Dennis' property in Victoria. Beacon Hill Park, Strait of Juan de Fuca and restaurants were all minutes away. Would recommend this site for a nice Victoria getaway!

Guests can walk, bike, roller blade or jog to the home from downtown ferry terminals. Rental cars and tours are available for exploring more than Victoria. Very close to the ocean and Beacon Hill Park which includes a petting zoo and twice a day goat stampede! Flowers, fresh air, para-sailers, wind surfers, mountain and ocean views and rainbows are all part of the charm.

Having beach picnics or just watching the water activities can relax everyone.

For those wishing to explore the local pubs a few blocks in either direction will satisfy your appetite. One of the best fish and chip shops is a few blocks away.

Grocery and pharmacies within walking distance.
