About Jennifer

Hi! Thanks for looking at one of our condos! I am a Utah real estate broker and property manager, I also work part-time at a specialty outdoor retailer. My husband, Matt is a builder/developer. We have a 4 year old daughter, Avery.

We manage this condo for the owner but care for it as we do our own! It is next door to our 4 bedroom 4 bath condo.

We own two units at the Canyon Racquet Club condominiums (VRBO #142268 4 bed 4 bath in the same building & #324276 2 bed 2 bath). We take great pride in making sure our guests are happy! We love Utah and all it has to offer!

We have lived in Utah all our lives. We love the outdoors and love the SNOW! I have been involved in the vacation rental business for 25+ one time managing over 90 vacation rentals. Now having my own and managing for friends I can provide the attention to detail I was unable to provide when handling so many. Because of my affiliation in the outdoor sports industry, local expertise and vacation rental management experience I provide many special extras in our properties to make them more comfortable, better maintained, fully equipped and of course, MORE FUN!!!

I personally go to each unit before and after each stay to make sure everything is just right! If you have questions or concerns, just look at the guest comments of this property or one of our others!

Location! This community has the best of both worlds - it is great for the owners and their family to visit because it is close to family members and close to all the activities they enjoy (including summer and winter sports)....but also great as a vacation rental for others.....the unit is fully licensed as a tourist home (required by Cottonwood Heights).

What makes this condo unique

The location is ideal - right at the mouth of the Canyons so we can ski, snowshoe, hike, bike, and picnic in 20 minutes, yet still in Salt Lake county with quick access to the freeway to go downtown or to Park City. Grocery stores and restaurants are close by as well.

Great unit and great location !!

We loved this unit, everything was put together nicely and felt just like home. The fireplace was awesome and hot tub felt great every day after skiing. The convenient location close to the mouth of the Cottonwood canyons was great. Great place to stay and highly recommend !!

Terrific, well appointed condo!

Nice to see a unit that was so updated, well taken care of and clean. Jennifer was very responsive and a delight to work with.

Kitchen had nice granite counter tops and all the cooking ware was in great shape.

Loved the amenities in the bathrooms and we appreciated all of the notes/signage that they had throughout.

Great ski condo

After our initial rental property cancelled on us and our second location was found to be unsuitable, we found ourselves in SLC without a place to stay for our week of skiing. I reached out to several properties and Jennifer was so kind and accommodating. She was prompt and had her available condo cleaned up and ready for us in a couple of hours. The rest of our stay was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed the condo. It was well equipped for our needs and Jennifer even brought batteries over when the wii controllers died! The beds were comfortable, the electric fireplace was great after a day of skiing and the hot tub was well-kept. Check out was a breeze. Very happy with our stay and would book again!

Excellent place to stay for skiing

Very nice condo. Very comfortable and clean. Nicely supplied with amenities - soaps, paper towels, etc. - which is rare for HomeAway. Good hot tub.

Downsides: heating very uneven between floors; checkout rules that you're required to wash the towels or sheets and take out the garbage is pretty outrageous considering you're paying $275 per night PLUS $100 for cleaning.

Owner's Response: Thanks for taking the time to submit a review! We like to make sure our condos are very well equipped with many extras, kitchen staples, toiletries, detergents, paper products etc. Yes, I find it rare in the vacation rentals I stay in as well. I would like to respond to the downside of your comments: **Due to the vaulted ceilings and because heat rises the bedrooms do tend to get a little warmer. We suggest you keep the heater/AC fan on (instead of auto) to circulate air throughout the condo (we address this in our info in the condo). Maybe you missed that? **Cleaning fees are very standard in the vacation rental industry as these are not hotels, they are stand alone large condos with multiple beds, and larger square footage with no onsite services. Hotels charge very high nightly rates (considering the small square footage, 1 bathroom etc) and hide/cover their cleaning fees in "Resort Fees" etc., additional "taxes" and "fees". **We DO NOT REQUIRE you to wash sheets and towels ~I'm very sorry for that misunderstanding. We ask that you START one load of hot tub towels (with supplied detergent), you certainly are not required to wash all the linens. That's at least 5 loads for that condo! **Yes, we do ask that you take out your trash and recycling to the main dumpsters in the community..... We try to maintain a competitive price considering the quality of our properties. We also pay our cleaning person well to maintain that quality. We also think paying a fair wage is just the right thing to do! Thanks again for staying with us, thanks for the 5 STAR review and the opportunity to provide some clarification.

If your plans become disrupted, then we are happy to work with you to try to re-book your dates for a $50 fee (if it can be done). If cancellation is your only option, then if cancellation is made more than 60 days before your expected arrival, the deposit is refunded less a $75 cancellation fee. If cancelled within 60 days, your deposit (or the full rental, if already paid) is forfeited. No automatic refunds due to road conditions, weather/acts of nature, lack of snow
