Historic downtown Fernandina (covering a 50-block area) is full of charm, gas lanterns, and 19th buildings. Even some cobblestones. And the shrimp boats which have defined our heritage for hundreds of years are still here and serving us daily. Side by side with the charter boats (fishing and sightseeing excursion opportunities abound). There are even pelicans at the right time of year. The beaches aren't crowded. And traffic is a non-issue. Heaven!

The sand and the sea...
The history of our island, going back some 5,000 years if you wish --- or maybe only back as far as 1562 when the French first found us.
The folks who are spending the winter in our unit don't have a computer, and they never plan to own one, so they won't be submitting a comment. But, they assure me that they love it. This is their second winter and they have already signed up for next year. I keep asking: "Are you sure you have everything you need? The answer is always Yes. "Is there anything I need do, or add, or change?" And the answer is always No. I won't submit their long list of accolades. Their repeated re-renting kinda' speaks for itself, don't you think?
Never been to Fernandina, Amelia Island. Beautiful island/beaches. The townhouse location provided a close walk to the beach. Very comfortable amenities. Historic downtown wonderful. Restaurants Crap Trap and Salty Pelican were THE BEST! Will return to hopefully stay at this very place!
We had never been to Fernidena Beach FL. And found it to be wonderful Plenty of beach access on several Roads. Lots of restaurants and shopping Visited to St. Mary's several times and did the ferry out to Cumberland Island we also visited Kingsland and found many more restaurants. Deb was super If we had any Needs she was available and took care of it immediately Cannot wait to go back
My husband, kids and I stayed in this cozy town home in the month of June 2015 .
We loved the layout of the townhouse and the design/decor! VERY CLEAN!!
It was only a short and easy walk to the beach!
The community/complex is pretty and very well kept with nice pool, fountains, playground and friendly neighbors.
Deb, the owner was so nice to work with and if we had any issues or questions she was prompt to return our call.
We would certainly stay here again! We loved Amelia Island and made a lot of family memories.
If you are a dog lover this facility and the beaches/area are very pet friendly. Bring your bike!
Thanks Deb for letting us stay at your place! Hope to return someday!
My wife, kids and I had a wonderful time during our stay at Amelia Island during spring break 2015. The location of this condo was excellent in relation to the beach, town and all we wanted to do. It was an easy walk to the beach. The condo was well decorated and enough room for our entire family. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again. The owner was helpful and accommodating. Would recommend to all!
My mom and I along with our border collie mix had a wonderful time in Amelia Island in August of 2015! We loved our two bedroom, two bathroom condo! It had everything we needed (beach towels, beach chairs, etc). We felt so safe walking our dog at night within the condo development. Lots of doggie stations and plenty of light! The beach was about a block or so away and the pool was lovely (I went every day)! We would definitely stay here again!
My wife and I (and our golden retriever) enjoyed our 2-month stay in Deborah's condo. It was clean and comfortable and contained all of the needed materials for a longer-term rental. Furthermore, Deborah was helpful when we first arrived and encountered a problem with our cable and internet service. It was clear that she wanted us to be happy and comfortable in her condo. The property is very convenient to the beach, literally a 4-minute walk and just 1 block away. We took advantage and walked on the beach every day! It also is convenient in terms of its location on the island -- equal distance to the Amelia Plantation and to the town of Fernandina Beach. We found the condo to be very reasonable in price for a longer-term stay.
Terrific golf courses (something for every budget), Off-shore, Back Water and Pier fishing, FAB-u-lous restaurants, Horseback Riding on the Beach!, Antiques, Shops, More Shops, Art Centers, Marsh Kayaking, More Golf, Birdwatching, Miniature Golf (great fun!), Aerial tours, 40-yes-40 Tennis Courts, Stately Mansions, Bike Rentals, Miles of Hiking Trails, Fossil Hunting, Cruises up and down the Amelia and Nassau Rivers--through beautiful marshes, also to Cumberland Island, and St, Mary's, A selection of Charter Boats, too! If, when you check our calender, you find that the week you have in mind is already booked, then please contact us anyway, We know of a couple other properties that we would be delighted to recommend
