Our one bedroom unit is the right place for vacationers who want to enjoy urban Victoria, as well as the amazing outdoor opportunities of the greater Victoria Area. If you are coming to Victoria for business this unit is a quick drive to the downtown area either via highway or surface streets. Should you need to be at Victoria General Hospital, the unit is within walking distance (1 kilometer). The Galloping Goose/Lochside bikeway and walkway is a less than a 5 short stroll. This unit is also a short drive to the new Uptown Center (4.3 kilometers), the Millstream shopping centers (5.3 kilometers) and the Langford based shopping centers (5.8 kilometers), as well as the array of shopping opportunities in downtown Victoria. In March 2016 the Eagle Creek Cente began a rolling start-up of a Quality Foods supermarket, Cobbs Bakery, Starbucks, Forbes Pharmacy and other stores – all less than 1 kilometer from this unit.
You will enter the underground, secure car park, have a dedicated space (with no pillars to work around) and are right across from the elevator. Every item in this top floor unit was purchased in July/August 2011 or since. As you enter the unit there is a small restroom on one side and a lovely kitchen with granite counter tops with all of the equipment one would need. A personal favourite of the owners is the “Griddler” – on which you can make Panini sandwiches, a steak, fish, etc. and with the other cooking plates have a flat griddle for pancakes and the like! The kitchen has a dishwasher and microwave. The owners, who regularly rent like units when they travel, have worked to put in the kitchen everything that they have wanted/needed in their travels.
The living space has a good sized living room with a couch/hide-a-bed, a reclining chair, 42” TV and blue-ray player. We have Telus Optik as the satellite TV and internet service – and yes, the unit has full wifi. There is a step up from the living room to the dining room where you have a wood drop-leaf table that easily seats 6 and could seat more. Both the living room area and dining room area have large windows, as does the bedroom, which look toward the Olympic Mountain Range of which you have a partial view.
The bedroom’s main feature is a queen size bed with a wonderful Temperpetik mattress. The bed has four draws underneath and there are floating (attached to the wall) nightstands which also have 2 draws on both sides of the bed.
Know that the interior of all of the closets have been professionally designed to maximize storage space. The owners have a storage area separate from the unit, so you will not be denied access to any area.
The large en suite bathroom provides all of the normal amenities. In a closet inside the bathroom are the washer and dryer.

The floors are wood throughout with the exception of the bathroom which are tile.
There is a good sized private deck that you access from the living room. The deck has lounge chairs and a small table, as well as propane BBQ.
The Camden Green building has been awarded the Gold Standard for its construction and use of energy. Hot water and heating is geothermal – which means there will be plenty of hot water and for those cold days, The heat coming through the floor will keep your feet warm.
There is a local market within a 5 minute walk, a major supermarket across the street and other major supermarkets within a short drive), to sites to see (the Parliament Building – 9.5 kilometers), Butchart Gardens – 13.4 kilometers-, etc), and an array of outdoor activities all very close by.
