Northern Michigan Cabin Rental Photos and Description

2 Bedroom/1 Bathroom- Big Glen Access

This quaint little northwoods spot is the perfect getaway. The cabin is nestled in the quiet woods across the road from Old Settler's Park, which provides access to Big Glen Lake and a small public boat launch perfect for kayaks or canoes. This Burdickville location is within walking distance of two of the regions finest dining establishments, and a corner store/ice cream shop. It is just a short drive to the Sleeping Bear Dunes, Lake Michigan Beaches, the Crystal River, and the many towns in the area.

The cabin has 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed, and a sofa bed which sleeps an additional 2 people. There is a fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor grill. Enjoy a meal out on the deck. The outdoor fire pit is the perfect spot to stay warm as the sun sets behind Alligator Hill.

Fall stay at Glen Lake

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay and found everything to be clean and efficient, no problems whatsoever. Joakim and Heidi have a nice little cabin and met our expectations completely. The location is somewhat more distant from Glen Arbor than we had anticipated initially, but it was quiet and in a beautiful setting near a park and the lake.

Great cottage in a great location!

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying in this cozy cottage so much that one of us re-booked it for the following week. The owners were friendly, helpful, and attentive and the home is completely clean and equipped with everything you'll need. You can't beat the location --right across the street from Settler's Park and Glen Lake. And it's a short drive away from Spectacular Sleeping Bear Dunes. We will be back for sure!

Perfect little getaway cottage!

  • 5 of 5

This cottage was a wonderful place to stay. The location is great because it is easyto get to all of the areas lakes, hiking and restaurants. It is far enough away from Traverse City to feel like you are away from the city but close enough to go for an afternoon. The cottage is very private but is right across the street from a park and shallow lake access. There are two restaurants and an ice cream shop in walking distance. Overall a very clean, cozy, welcoming place to stay!

Fall Getaway

  • 5 of 5

The listing description was spot on. The cabin was exactly as depicted by the photos. The property was clean and well maintained. The gas fireplace was great for taking the chill out of the cabin. The owner went above and beyond. They answered all of our questions and provided us with great restaurant recommendations . The Heritage Sleeping Bear Trail was fantastic for a long bike ride. The cabin is right across the street from a great park located on Glen Lake. Short drive to the town of Glen Arbor with great shopping and restaurants . The owners recommended Le Becasse a French Resturant located within walking distance of the cabin. The dinner was Superb . We would highly recommend this property.

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I have traveled to Sleeping Bear Dunes for a fall vacation for many years. This was our first stay at this cottage. We found this to be the best we have stayed in so far. It is clean, spacious and includes everything one could need. The sheets and towels that were provided were fresh and clean smelling. The cabin itself was spotless. The furnishings were very nice, like a real home and not just a bunch of stuff thrown together. We were there in September and the Vermont Castings gas stove was a wonderful, cozy addition. The cottage is close to all the hiking and kayaking we wanted to do. It is also close to Glen Arbor and Empire and not far from Leland. All in all, I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about the cottage. It is a gem.
