Our 480 square feet Garden level suite has a well stocked kitchen, 1 bedroom with a queen size bed and a living area with a queen size sleeper sofa, eating area with a view into the garden. TV with DVD player and internet access. Shared Washer/Dryer.

Enjoy the quiet and ambiance of one of Vancouver's loveliest neighborhoods. Take advantage of the close proximity to downtown, UBC, golf courses, fine restaurants, grocery stores, shops and the long stretch of beaches.

Shopping, Bus stops in walking distance (2 Blocks away - Dunbar St. and McKenzie St.).

Beautiful Balaclava park just down the back lane.

Situated minutes away you find the Pacific Spirit Park, a West Coast rainforest next to the city for walking or biking. Take the children to Jericho Beach 5 minutes away by car, Walk along the seawall in Stanley park taking in the mountains, ocean and city view in all it's breathtaking beauty.

We are a German-Canadian family of 4. We moved to Vancouver in 1998 and fell in love with the City.

Our 2 daughters attend the local High Schools and they as well speak English and German!

Cozy suite

We had a lovely quiet time in Sasha's suite. She and her husband and beautiful dog greeted us warmly even though we were late arriving. The suite had everything we needed, was clean & warm despite the bitter snowy cold days. And she left chocolates and champagne for us which was such a treat to ring in the New Year with!! There was lots of hot water, towels and the bed was comfy and soft. We were able to come and go without disturbing anyone which was great and found parking just outside the house.

Sasha was right there by text if we needed anything!

Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy the outside area in the garden that looked like it would of been nice to relax in had it been Spring or Summer!

Thank you for making our stay so comfortable!

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay. Very pleased with the layout of the apartment. It is very clean, and there were ample supplies for our nine nights. The bed is very comfortable. Lots of hot water. Great shower. Impressed with the linens throughout. We appreciated that our very kind hostess responded right away to minor questions. Would definitely stay here again and are happy to recommend this location for a short or long-term stay.

Very comfortable lodging perfect for our five day stay in Vancouver.

We arrived on a dark, rainy evening and had to be guided into our rental by our very gracious hostess. We were pleasantly surprised the next morning to look out on the picture perfect yard as we sipped our tea and planned our day. It was a short walk to the local supermarket but unfortunately they don't open until ten. That was the only glitch the entire week and was solved quickly by a longer jaunt to Dunbar to buy our essentials. This wasn't a tourist destination for us. Our son and his family live nearby so it was the most convenient place we've ever stayed in our many visits over the years. One of the most appreciated extras for us was that no matter what time we arrived in the evening there was no problem parking our rental car. No matter what your reason is for visiting Vancouver, I would recommend this quiet part of the city for your home base.
