I was born in Rome where I grew-up. I studied Economics in Rome and Barcelona and between my 20 and 40 worked in UK, USA and Spain.
I extensively travelled in Usa, Europe, Africa and Far East and appreciate having a reference person were I go.
I'm a passionate traveller, enjoying both being a guest and a host; that’s why I like renting my place and assisting people in visiting Rome, eating out and enjoying ‘hidden’ aspects of my home town.
I have been owning this apartment for 20 years and my Mummy leaves in the same building.
It is a neighbor where the medium-high and high classes leave, with lots of nice 1900’ buildings.
The apartment has been completely renovated just a few years ago and everybody says the new modern look it is a real WOW!!! thanks to my brother’s passion for architecture and design..
I love having windows on a garden, not so easy when you are right in the city center.
Located within great proximity to the Vatican and Metro lines. Comfortably accommodated our group and was a nice clean place to stay. Would recommend to family and friends!
Apartment is very good, has everithing to relax after busy day. It is 10 min walk to Vatican angle hop-on hop-off tour buses. Very much recommended.
This apartment is a jewel and we’ve enjoyed our stay here immensely. It includes all the amenities noted in the description and is elegantly designed, spacious, comfortably furnished, and well equipped for both short term and longer visits. It was scrupulously clean and everything was in good working order when we arrived, a very welcome reception after a long flight. Located on a side street just off a main avenue in Prati, the apartment is quiet, with windows facing the street as well as an interior courtyard. During the 2 months of our stay we’ve discovered the many pleasures of the neighbourhood, including all the services we need for daily life. It’s a short walk to excellent food shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants and a slightly longer one to one of Rome’s great food markets as well as its main flower market. Good bus service is just steps away, too, and the Metropolitana is a 10 minute walk. The apartment is 15 minutes on foot from the Vatican and yet lies well beyond the tourist bustle. We are urban walkers and Rome is a wonderful walking city so the apartment’s location close to the old city centre has been a real advantage. The apartment is a brisk 20 minute walk from the Piazza del Popolo through a pleasant neighbourhood dating from the later 19th century. The owner has been wonderful, gracious and welcoming, and helpful with the important questions that come with settling in. We would – and will! – recommend the apartment in a heartbeat to family and friends and we certainly will stay here again when we return to Rome.
this apartment is in a great location to visit St. peters and the Vatican. the bus stop is in walking distance and the metro was just a few bus stops away ( we walked to it a few times)to visit all the other tourist spots.
my husband, 4 year old daughter, and parents were very comfortable in the apartment. the bathroom shower was fantastic and the bed was very comfortable.
the power in the house went out once but it was a very easy fix and we were told it could happen.
we planned to make several trips to Vatican city throughout the trip so this apartment was perfect for that.
we also arranged car service pick up/ drop off from the airport and it was great as well.
I rented this apartment because I had built the website for people who manage some apartments in Rome and this place seemed very modern and attractive from the point of view of design. I spent a few days there with my boys aged 14 and 12 years old. It is a perfect place from which to visit Rome: the Vatican is within walking distance and a short walk away there are buses that take you all over Rome.
The apartment is equipped with everything and very well decorated. In the evening the boys enjoyed watching movies in English on the huge TV and surfing the net on their ipads.
We will be back for sure! Thanks for the lovely warm welcome. The nearby Pizzeria Giacomelli is amazing.
Enjoy real Italian life, live as Italian live.
If you want to be near the sites and to experience an interesting and pleasant area of Rome without the crowds, across the river from the Spanish Steps neighborhood, near the Vatican, is Prati. This is a central neighborhood that Romans love.

Some of the best shopping in Rome is in this neighborhood: from small designer boutiques, good gourmet food shops and open air bargain stands, to a nice department store and a huge famer’s and flower markets for fresh foods.
It is all arrayed along and behind the Via Cola di Rienzo’s broad sidewalks and cafes.
