|Minimum Stay||2 - 5 nights|
After a day on the white slopes at Baldy or Dollar Mountain, stow the skis, hang the socks to dry by the gorgeous new earthen-stone gas fireplace, and relax in the roomy living area of this lovely one-bedroom condo with loft in colorful Sun Valley. With room for four, the amenities in this condo - like TV with cable, DVD, WiFi and computer connection - are only the beginning of the numerous activities awaiting you in the Sun Valley/Ketchum area. Located within walking distance of the Elkhorn chairlift (the first chairlift in the U.S.), you'll also enjoy free access to Elkhorn's outdoor pools, hot tubs, sauna/steam room, tennis and volleyball courts, and are just a short shuttle ride away from Sun Valley's other famous ski areas.
Make yourself a cup of coffee, step out onto the small Juliet balcony and listen to the stream rushing (in season). Then, settle into this cheery space, brightly lit from sunlight through the big windows. The painting of a winter scene and the ski poles on the wall remind you: you're in colorful Sun Valley, immortalized in story and song. Bring along some DVDs of your own to enjoy, or just grab one from the library. There are books and games as well for more "unplugged" diversions.
At mealtime, you'll have plenty of room to slice and dice on the long granite countertops and lots of cupboard space for the supplies you've packed in. Recessed stove, microwave and dishwasher conserve space, and you'll be able to enjoy your favorite coffee, freshly ground in the grinder. Gather 'round the rustic wood dining table with room for six and enjoy your meal. If you're not up to cooking, head out to one of the top-notch eateries in Sun Valley and nearby Ketchum.
At bedtime, settle in for the night in the master bedroom where you'll sleep in a king bed under comfortable linens with lots of pillows to prop you up while you read before bed. The others can head up to the loft where they'll find two twin beds and a writing desk, perfect for penning that final entry in the journal before going to sleep. There's one full bathroom with beautiful tile work and a shower/tub combination.
Though this condo is located very near the lift at Elkhorn, ski buffs should know that it's only open during "the big snow"winters, otherwise, skiers and boarders are routed via the shuttle to the nearby slopes at Bald and Dollar Mountain(s). Your stay here will also put you close to the Sun Valley Nordic & Snowshoe Center which features a restaurant, lounge, bar and locker rooms, along with equipment repair, rental and storage. You can also play a round of virtual golf here! If you prefer the real thing, there are four courses in the Sun Valley area, and you can even enjoy a 10% discount off your game at the Elkhorn fairways.
In warmer weather, you can hike, bike, fish, and climb in Sawtooth National Recreation Area. Take the bike over to the path that runs north for 10 miles and south for 16 miles along the Big Wood River. If you're looking for a piece of art to bring home from your visit, you're in the right place: there are nearly a dozen galleries in nearby Ketchum, and lots of places to shop and dine.
Sun Valley is a special destination for outdoors lovers, and this lovely condo makes the perfect home away from home!

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Condo was nice - cozy and comfortable for my family of four. But the acces to the hot tub and sauna promised was not as advertised. No pass to the facilities, and no directions on where they were located. Very disappointing- on a ski trip where the weather was less than ideal, the lack of access to amenities made the situation worse.
Great property and worked really well for our family of 4!
Great spot that is very quiet and quick to town.
It was the perfect little condo that had everything we needed for our stay. It was clean, updated, easy to check in and check out, would definitely stay here again!
