Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wifes family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
We had a wonderful trip. The staff and the property were perfect for us. Thanks for everything.
If you like, quiet and contained, and not a lot of fluff, this is a perfect getaway. A great house if you have a few kids that don't need a lot of entertainment or who really enjoy spending most of their time outdoors. Great location for bike rides, jogging/walking trails, swim park, seeing deer out and about. Cute village if you want a little bit of culture and a variety of restaurants for those who don't want to cook. Would definitely go back and stay.
The furnishings could use updating. Great location!
The Good: Although we did not take advantage of it, the house is a convenient distance from the SHARC and SR village. All the towels, sheets, kitchen, etc was very clean
The Bad: The only issue we had is the house is very dated...TLC is needed. Example: When we tried to open the patio screen door to get into the house, it fell off the rails. The lock on the patio door was so rusted, we were afraid that we would break the key trying to unlock it. The lounge chair is a hazard...I almost broke it just trying to stand up. When we got there, the internet and cable TV was out and speaking of the TV, you couldn't upgrade the TV to HD quality (90's tube TV)??? We usually don't watch too much TV but this was during the 2016 Olympics. Ohhh...BTW, no air conditioning. That's my bad...should have checked that out before booking a Sun River trip in Aug.
The location was great and the house generally accommodated our group size, but it felt like it hadn't been maintained since it was built, probably in the 80s. There were also lots of broken things, like the screen door, reclining chair, one of the two bikes, dresser drawers, etc. The carpet and living room furniture felt dirty and dingy.
Wished there were curtains to pull across all the windows during the hot afternoon sun to keep the temperature down since there is no air conditioning. The floor fans helped some.
The appliances all worked fine and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc.
