Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
It's a pretty comfortable place, and close enough to the beach that it's walkable. There is a pretty old stereo that will play cds or tapes but if you want to play music from your phone, bring your own speakers. Overall we would stay again though.
I loved it, the cutest little house ever! It was super close to the beach. My favorite thing was to take a cup of coffee to the beach and watch the sun come up! The house itself was perfect, I cannot wait to stay here again!
We recently stayed here for a family get together. The house is located about 5 blocks from the beach on a quiet street. The house is supplied with everything you need in the kitchen. Bedrooms are very nice with comfortable beds. The downstairs was smaller than we thought & only had table & chairs for 4. We would of liked a TV downstairs as we are a family who enjoys sports. The upstairs has a TV room though. It was really nice to have a washer & dryer after our crabbing trip. The house was really clean & well stocked. Refrigerator leaked a little inside & the toaster didn't toast, but other than that we enjoyed our weekend. Rockaway area is beautiful. Thanks for sharing your house with us.
My family of five had the perfect weekend at your rental. The neighborhood was very nice and we loved going for walks both in the neighborhood and down the beach that was very close by. Everything was clean and the beds were so comfortable.
Nice house close to the beach. Location was close to many attractions. Great place.
When researching a vacation rental, I read all the reviews as they do help to narrow down the search, I also know that it depends on individual taste, so here is my honest review:
First impressions are important and first impression on pulling into driveway was one of trepidation! the exterior of the property and surrounding "yard" needed some TLC and a good weedwacker! However, the interior is very nice and like the photos. Kitchen very well equipped indeed. The Grandkids loved having their own space upstairs, very cozy, light and bright. Could do with better instructions on how to easily use the myriad of remotes and gadgets accompanying the TV!
Very clean property inside, windows upstairs are very, very hard to close.
Not sure why there were two glasses in the "fridge that were full of water and spilt all over when we tried to move them, not realizing they were full of water at the time! We soon realized why they were there - freezer leaks - just a warning, fridge is full size and clean so not an issue - a little forewarning may help!
Our first night was disturbed by all smoke alarms going off at 2.30am, we had to remove them and take the batteries out to stop the noise. They were not fixed as a maintenance call was needed. Small issue that can happen anytime but a little disconcerting all the same.
We would stay here again, which is important to note! After all, if you are outside, its usually on the lovely beach very close by! easy walking distance too.
