Vacasa - Vacation Rentals Made Easy:
Professionally managed and cleaned homes
Local assistance 24/7 for emergencies
Secure INSTANT booking
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
The studio was located in a great spot, walking distance to Sun Valley resort. The pool there was fantastic! The studio was small, I wouldn't recommend 4 people (even kids!) Needs a little update and TLC but otherwise, worked for us!
Sun Valley is exquisite. This condo affords an amazing location with all the best amenities surrounding you. The beds and pillows are terribly uncomfortable and need to be updated. The price is right if you are young and spry. We'll definitely go back to Sun Valley.
The location was fabulous- babbling brook, green grass, beautiful surroundings!
The unit we stayed was affordable and and adequate.
Alittle noise from the folks above, otherwise very pleasant stay!
Very good location, simple but adequate accommodations. What a great place Sun Valley is"
I much preferred having my own mini apartment with a kitchen to a standard hotel room, and with it being even cheaper than any hotel room, how could anyone not go with a place like this? Overall, I really enjoyed my time here, and the location is excellent, especially the proximity to the Sun Valley Lodge and the included (!) amenities pass that gives access to the spa's thermal pool. That was a great bonus I didn't expect, and was fantastic to soak after a day of skiing. The kitchen was great for cooking dinner each day, and the included wifi was good. Parking was no problem either.
The main downsides... the mattress was somewhat on the saggy side, and I had to sleep near the edge where it was firmer. Also, there were lots of noises coming through the walls, some loud music, and some awful sound most evenings - someone vacuuming? exercise equipment? Couldn't tell, but it was really annoying. The worst... every morning at about 5am, a very loud knocking/pinging came from inside the bathroom/kitchen wall (water heater turning on? Never could find the source) and lasted about 10 minutes - woke me up every night. If I actually lived here full time I wouldn't be happy, but for a week I could deal with it well enough.
Overall, despite the annoyances, I would still recommend it as a great value for the area, and would come back here again.
Also, a nice thanks to the property manager for coming by asap to replace the lightbulb in the bathroom that burned out, so I could see in there (no window).
