*******Save and pay by check or money order******. South Florida's Gulf Coast is a tropical paradise in a unique setting. This long time secret was once a sleepy little fishing village called Englewood. When you're not enjoying the miles of tranquil beaches along the Gulf of Mexico, try boating, fishing or bird watching – or bring your clubs to one of the town's eight golf courses.
We are far enough removed from major highways and offer seclusion as a laid back way of life, but still offer convenient shopping, airports, and restaurants. 20 miles of secluded shell laden gulf beaches, world class tarpon and sport fishing, boating, 25+ golf courses and tennis courts are yours for the asking.
Englewood has become known as the 'Gem of the Suncoast.'
This functionally equipped and furnished condo is on the second floor, with vaulted ceilings, skylights, 2 bedrooms (1 Queen size bed, 2 twins), 2 bathrooms and a large screened-in lanai. This condo is close to the community pool, tennis court, and clubhouse.
Come relax at our beautiful getaway and enjoy the view of mature trees draped with Spanish moss, only a stone's throw away, and visible from the living room, lanai, and bedroom. Relax on your own spacious and peaceful lanai day or night while feeling the gentle breezes and hearing the chirping of birds over the mangroves.
Close to many golf courses, Boca Grande, beautiful beaches, shopping and restaurants. Only minutes from The Rays spring training at the Charlotte County Stadium.
Originally from Michigan, now living in upstate NY, I spent many happy times visiting family and friends in the Englewood/Venice areas. We get away as frequently as possible, while still allowing time to rent out our wonderful Florida home.
Francine Finucan & John Perestam purchased this condo in 2013
We have choosen this area because its a bit off the beaten path. The beaches are beautiful and the local community is very kind and welcoming.
A little off the beaten path, but still close to beaches, shopping and restaurants.
We had a very relaxing stay in this condo. The VRBO description was exactly right. Very clean and well equipped. The pool was beautiful and the beach was 10 minutes away. Everything we needed inside and out. Condo complex was very quiet but the residents who were here were very friendly. Good restaurants are close by. We would come here again.
Had a wonderful relaxing stay. This condo has everything you could need. The pool is just steps away, and the beaches just minutes away. The weather was awesome sun every day. I will return!!
Enjoyed the stay very much. The accommodations wre perfect for us. The location excellent. All the people we met were friendly and as nice as could be. Francine and John took care of us well. We are considering 2 months next year; Jan/Feb or Feb/Mar. I,m not sure if that is possible at this location but we would like to consider it. Not for young children and that was much appreciated. The property was as described the pictures were accurate.
Wonderful Xmas get away! My wife and I found this place on VRBO and even though the pictures are nice, they dont even come close to showing the real deal! All the descriptions here are correct, but the many, many extras cant be described! Every Friday evening there is a cocktail party for all guests and owners and we attended. The residents here are very pleasant people and they care deeply for the condo compound There are several full time residents and they are more than happy to answer questions about local faire. The owners of our unit provided a large binder with menus, directions and events. There is a very nice farmers market in "downtown" Englewood, which was very fun, and we found a favorite little local wine and cigar bar nearby. Southwest Florida is largely congested and very popular this time of year (late december-early january), but Englewood is not! We sat at the wine bar last night and maybe ten cars went by total! Englewood beach is about ten minutes away, with a big parking lot. There is a fee for parking there, but if you travel north on Manasota key (the island where Englewood beach is) there is a beach called "Blind Pass" where parking is free. The beach is more primitive, but there are still bathing facilities. Great shelling and shark teeth hunting on either beach. Very, very happy with this choice of condos. We WILL be back!!
We had a wonderful short stay at Gasparilla Pines Condo in October. What a lovely month to visit Florida!
The condo was clean, well stocked with everything anyone would need. The pool and tennis court is right across the parking lot from the condo. There were many close spots to walk, and the beach only 10 minutes away. The Englewood beaches are lovely, and a big surprise was finding sharks' teeth!
The shopping is close, and there are many good restaurants if you want to eat out. There really is no need though, as the kitchen has everything a chef would need.
We can't wait to rent this condo again!
Very clean and well maintained. Lazy low key atmosphere which is exactly what I needed!. Close to the beach. A great spot to search for shark teeth. Highly recommend.
