Located in the heart of historic Telegraph Hill and North Beach, home to San Francisco's Little Italy.
Although I would like to keep this VRBO to myself--I do believe in sharing.
Every aspect of this home is wonderful. You could not have a better location in San Francisco. Telegraph Hill neighborhood quiet yet just a few blocks to North Beach, Coit Tower, Wharf, Embarcadero, Pier 39 and more. (The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill) So much history, art, architecture and nature are in this area. Views from the rooftop are outstanding. The fact that you can park 2-3 cars is unheard of in this city. Kitchen is top notch. Normally I take tons of pictures of everywhere I stay but the pictures of this VRBO were so spot on it wasn't necessary. The many linens available here are best quality. The many, showers and tubs will soak away your weary bodies.
Bill, our property manager, was friendly, effective and 100% available yet left us to do our thing.
I will be back to this VRBO many more times.
Fabulous large house in a terrific neighbourhood! This home easily accommodates large groups and is very nicely appointed. It has high tech bathrooms & a large modern kitchen. The rooftop deck provides stunning panoramic city views, including the Golden Gate bridge and a glimpse of Alcatraz. I highly recommend staying here. North Beach is a vibrant downtown neighbourhood and from here you can get all over the city on foot.
GREAT!!! This house was in a great location and the rooftop deck is incredible!!! Would highly recommend it to anyone traveling with families, couples as you are within walking distance of so many great spots in San Fran! Personal favorite was Washington Park and all restaurants right around the park.
This house was, in many ways, even better than advertised. We cooked and the kitchen was well equipped. The master bedroom and roof deck were larger than expected. Interesting Moroccan-style design in several rooms.
We went to San Francisco to attend, and celebrate our son's Law School graduation!
We had 8 adults sleeping comfortably in the house. Super nice Master and very nice secondary bedrooms. Great bathrooms/showers with "heated floors". We cooked several meals in the beautiful kitchen and celebrated in style. The house is located in a perfect area in terms of views and proximity, and most definitely the photos of the house are legitimate-it's pretty spectacular, and what you see is what you get.
Bill provided good information as far as entering the house and things we might want to do or seek out. There were a few minor things that I would recommend:
The kitchen could use a few more things like larger bowls in which to mix/or serve, and a few more utensils. We used the "salad spinner" bowl for just about everything!! Also more chairs in the kitchen is recommended. Granted it is a somewhat small area by the table, but that is the place everyone wanted to be. We were cooking and eating and drinking great wine there!!
Also getting all the TV's to work was difficult. Maybe just some directions would suffice. Those are my only recommendations. The house was beautiful, clean and perfect. Such a great place for such a wonderful occasion!!!
Wow! This place was amazing. Great location – near by restaurants, safe neighborhood, walking distance to all of San Francisco’s iconic locations. Plus a great garage for two + cars. Located at the top of a hill but with a level street in front, entering & exiting the garage was no problem and never a worry about parking. (I realize I’m going on about the garage but if you’ve ever tried to park on SF’s steep streets you’ll understand) Tip: we would walk down the hill to the ferry building, Chinatown, Pier 39... then "Uber" it back
This is a very spacious & beautiful home. The wall finishes were breathtaking. Every bathroom was a spa experience with a different feature – steam, massage, rain (We christened the 2nd floor shower “The Car Wash”) Our 4 night stay was not long enough and our only complaint was that we didn’t have enough time just to hang out at the property with that fantastic rooftop deck and truly amazing views.
One note – the TV/video set up was really high tech & the one time we tried to play a DVD we were unsuccessful in getting it to work (on any floor) Perhaps an instruction sheet would be helpful
Situated on edge of Russian Hill and the legendary North Beach, this incredible private home is steps from all the action and energy and night life of San Francisco, but still a quiet and tranquil vantage point and base to explore the city.
