3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths Direct Beach Front, Corner Condo On The Gulf Of Mexico

Our home is an open concept corner condo with beautiful direct frontage onto the Gulf of Mexico beach. Great for a relaxing week... or month.. for 1 to 3 couples - or a sizeable family. With an updated kitchen, comfortable dining area and living room we have room for a wonderful family and/or friends holiday. A larger balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico is perfect for al fresco dining or just lounging and watching the waves. People watching included for free!! Spacious closet space in all 3 bedrooms along with TV's for quiet viewing. All bedrooms have windows opening to the beach for added freshness, sunshine, quiet and security. We have a King bed in the master bedroom which has its own ensuite bathroom and a Queen bed in each of the 2 guest bedrooms. They share a full bathroom located conveniently between the 2 bedrooms. We have a pull out couch in the living room for that extra guest. Maybe they will wake up first and put on the coffee!!! Tile and wood flooring throughout the condo cuts down on possible allergens with toss rugs for kids playing on the floor. 2 building elevator banks make access very convenient - entering from the street or back into the property from the pool and beach area. Spacious pool area for sun seekers and shade lovers alike. Gas and charcoal BBQ's are available along with dining chairs for a relaxing meal beside the pool. A guest gazebo encloses showers and toilets for poolside convenience. New stove, washer and dryer purchased in 2016

About Paula

We are a family of four who loves to vacation on the beach and complain about our golf games. We bought the condo to enjoy with our children and now that they are grown up, we are looking forward to having more time to spend in Florida - hopefully in the near future!! Living and working in Toronto, Canada our winters make us long for sunny beaches!! We are still years away from retirement, so we make do with occasional long weekends - flying in to play some golf and enjoy the beach. It is a shame for it to not be used so we have decided to rent it out and hope other people enjoy our Florida home as much as we do.

Why Paula chose Florida Central Gulf Coast

After spending a few years renting in this building, we decided to buy and set some roots. The kids have spent time on a beach somewhere in the world since they were born. They loved the beach and pool area of Beach Palms of all the Florida condos that we stayed at. We all liked that the building is a low rise, so we were not constantly waiting for elevators. However, as we are on the 4th floor, it is an easy climb to our condo if you have more energy... which is more my husband's style!! 2 sets of elevators, front and back property are very convenient to the beach or to the street. The pool area is beautiful with lots of room to spread out and the beach view is fantastic. The ocean is very calm on our beach - perfect for little ones and the sand is fine between our toes!! The beach is wide and flat with miles to walk. I hate to be indoors while in Florida - so I walk the beach for hours, while I work on my tan. I look to avoid ankle and knee strain, so the level area of sand that stretches for literally miles is perfect for an easy swinging gait. This property gives everyone in our family what they need/want for a holiday. My husband can drive to a different golf course everyday and still be back for lunch. While he is away with the car, the kids use the street car that goes by the building to get down to the tourist shops and restaurants with their friends. Although I do not recommend walking to the grocery store, there are many convenient places to pick up essentials or go out for a coffee. The beautiful bike path the city built extends for miles along Gulf Blvd, so joggers and bikers are out every day for exercise. We sometimes rent bikes for our stay and just keep them in the front hall of the condo. Tampa airport is an easy 30 minute drive - perfect for our quick golf trips and many of our favorite restaurants are within a 15 minute drive.

What makes this condo unique

We love this condo because it is a corner unit directly overlooking the beach. It has more windows than most of the other condos in the building and better security because none of the windows are on the interior walkways; all overlook the beach. Being a family prone to allergies, the clean tile and wood flooring makes it easier for us all to breathe deeply. The scatter rugs are easily steamed regularly to eliminate allergens. Now that we are all adults, we all tend to cook different things at different times of the day, so the updated kitchen was a necessity for us as are the TV's in every bedroom. They may be small, but they provide quiet time for us all while at the same time encourage the kids to join us to watch the bigger screen in the main family room for movies and sports events. The pool area was a huge draw for us as well. The great thing for me was that there is actually shade around the pool. So, after spending hours on the beach, we can always find a patch of shade around the pool to avoid the hot midday sun without having to go inside. This, in my experience, is rare in pool areas!! As a woman of scandinavian descent - I prize the shade provided by the palm trees around the pool. Over the years, we have watched several beach weddings from our balcony, so we know our beach is gorgeous for pictures. We also love to watch for the pod of lively dolphins that live in our bay. We see them almost every 3rd day - very exciting for land-bound Torontonians!!

Depending on the time of year, Natural Resources marks off turtle and sea bird nest areas along the beach. Great for the kids to observe and watch for hatchlings!!

Terrific stay!

Great condo with beautiful view of gulf and a nice large balcony where we spent most of our time! Nicely decorated, plenty of space and very well stocked. We let rental company know of few items but nothing that affected our stay. Had a wonderful time and hope to return soon.

The sink in master bath had a slow drain. Also the blinds in the living room were broken.

The blinds in living room were broken. Drawstring didn't open and close blinds. We just left the blinds open Day and night.

Great view, beautiful beaches and spacious unit.

We've stayed in many condos and this was the best by far. There were a few housekeeping issues but nothing that would prevent us from returning or that is the fault of the owner. 10 am checkout is the earliest we have ever been required to do and is a bit of a challenge after staying a week. The unit is very spacious, well stocked has a wonderful view and the facility itself is great . Absolutely beautiful beaches. Parking is a challenge if you have more than one vehicle or you have a visitor , so prepare ahead of time for alternative parking.

Nicely furnished condo unit, amazing view of the gulf.

This three bedroom unit is nicely furnished with a costal motif. The rooms and living spaces are large and you have a lot of room to relax for your vacation. The complex has two elevators and several pool and beach access points. We had a great time and didn't have any issues with the unit or overal grounds. A plus is the nearby bird sanctuary as well which is within walking distance on the beach.

We have a lot of golf courses in the area. A local flea market, storefronts to rent recreational vehicles - mopeds, bikes, boats, etc. Busch Gardens is 45 minutes away, Prime Outlet malls within 1 hour drive. Mini Golf, Baseball practise cages, more ice cream shops than you can imagine!! Sea Bird Sanctuary close by - watch the keepers bring the injured birds out and teach them to fly again!! Miles of level beach for serious walkers. Drive to Disney Land for a couple of days and then come back to the beach and sigh in relief at the lack of crowds. 5 Star restaurants within 10 minute beach drive. Great bike paths for safe cycling and rollerblading. Convenience store 3 minute walk away for emergency ice cream runs. Biggest and best breakfast on the Beach is found just 5 miles down the road. Fresh seafood retailer - incredible choice and great prices 3 miles down the road. Innumerable bars and restaurants within walking and driving distance. Leave the car keys at home and enjoy that extra glass of wine over dessert. Tampa International Airport is conveniently close for quick golf trips and easy pick up for later family arrivals.
