30 Bath Road is a beautiful semi detached period cottage set in a stunning location next to the millpond in central Emsworth. The property has wonderful sea views and offers a five-minute scenic walk along the harbour wall taking you straight to the village centre.
The cottage has excellent accommodation. On the ground floor there is an entrance hall, a cosy sitting room with open fire, TV and DVD, a downstairs toilet, a large fully equipped open plan kitchen with a sunny breakfast/dining area seating 8. This area has full width sliding doors opening out onto the patio area and charming garden. There is a small utility area with washing machine/dryer and cupboard space. On the first floor there is a good size bedroom with double bed and a master bedroom with gorgeous water views and a Kingsize bed. The bathroom has a bath and separate shower. There is also a small cot room where an infant can sleep. On the top floor is a generous third bedroom with twin beds. There is also a sofa bed in the sitting room so that up to 8 guests can be accommodated. The garden is sheltered and west facing, a perfect suntrap with garden furniture. Parking is available directly outside the property or down the adjacent road. The Cottage has been lovingly restored and perfectly decorated. It is very well equipped with modern furniture and fittings, which compliment perfectly its charm and character. It is the perfect destination for guests wishing to relax and enjoy the super accommodation and idyllic location. It will also appeal to those seeking an activity packed holiday and is available to business people for longer lets.

Emsworth has an interesting history, with a long established reputation for oyster fishing and boat building it still boasts traditional boat builders and chandleries. The sailing clubs are thriving centres for sailing enthusiasts and the pretty streets have a fascinating mixture of different architectural styles. Goodwood on the South Downs above Chichester, hosts regular horse racing and motor racing along side classic car events.
Emsworth enjoys excellent car, rail and bus links. It is within 3 miles of the A3 and A27 and Emsworth station has regular trains to London, Brighton and Southampton. London is just 65 miles away. 20 minutes from the main international ferry terminals of Portsmouth and 40 minutes from the recently refurbished Southampton International Airport.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans un lieu calme, reposant, avec une vue magnifique. Le gîte est très bien équipé, notamment pour l'accueil des jeunes enfants. Il est très bien entretenu. A recommander.

It is very easy to travel to Portsmouth to the west (about 15 minutes by car or train) and Chichester to the east, which is a similar distance. Chichester is an historical city surrounded by beautiful countryside with a thriving shopping centre and world famous Festival Theatre. London is about 70 minutes by rail.
