Amy is a fiber artist/fashion designer and hubby Edgar is a published author and UCC minister. .Edgar has traveled through Europe and lived in Karlsrhue and Frankfurt Germany. We're very much into Indian, Italian and Mexican food, European and local wines, entertaining, gardening and art of all kinds. We have a furnished au pair apartment connected to our home that we've been renting out on a short term basis for years. As for hosting, here's our experience: we've met folks hailing from Shanghi to Stockholm through the former International Diplomacy Council program here in San Francisco and have welcomed visiting diplomats and guests from all over the world (for dinner that is). Now that we've discovered Air BnB we think we might just be ready for prime time hosting . . . .

Cozy cottage apartment
Beautiful area! Hosts provided all we needed: small yard for our pet, small kitchenette, sitting area, large bedroom with a very comfortable king bed and a very nice bathroom! Privacy was nice, also.
Jan and Steve were great guests--very organized and left our place immaculate. Traveling with their sweet-tempered dog, they were truly a joy to host!
Great location in Marin county!
This apartment's San Anselmo location was perfect for our recent California road trip with our dog. Easy access to walking trails in Tierra Linda-Sleepy Hollow Open Space (walk to trail nearby), Roy's Redwoods (15 mins car), Pt. Reyes National Seashore (1 hr car), Natalie Coffin Greene Park (15 mins car) and others. Also near many restaurant choices in nearby San Anselmo and Fairfax. The Larkspur ferry terminal to San Francisco is also only 15 mins away by car. Apartment is very comfortable and private and kitchen is good for light cooking as advertised. Amy provided some items for breakfast for our first day which were much appreciated after our long drive. Wifi can be slow or spotty at times but otherwise fine. Bottom line, a great base for exploring Marin.
Great place to stay!
This apartment is cozy and a nice size. Very clean and welcoming.
I would stay here again.
