About Marisol Nunez
I am a New York State resident, retired from the State government currently living in Schoharie county. I loved the Adirondacks and all the wonderful things it offers.
Why Marisol Nunez chose Caroga Lake
The camp allows for a full enjoyment of a typical Adirondack water front setting. It is private, on a family oriented community, and safe for everyone.
What makes this Cabin unique
The camp provides a beautiful direct view of the lake, and mountains, from the living area, porches and deck. The bow roof makes it feels unique and special. We love to have a fire at night and to look at the starry sky.

My husband and I just spent a great week here. The camp is so very quaint, and the location right on the lake with the Incredible views through the wall of windows, is just breathtaking. It was very clean and homey feeling. Very rustic by nature, but the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and spices, making it very easy to use effectively. The accommodations were “campy” comfortable and sufficed nicely. The driveway and stairs down to the camp from the driveway are very steep, so it’s important to use caution. Marisol was very quick to assist with fixing the “cable” issues on day one., and make sure that things were good for us. A little hidden gem that worth more than one visit to. So very relaxing and peaceful. Not particularly “kid friendly” and safe in the dock area or spiral staircase (or the stairs down from the driveway), just something to keep in mind. I wouldn’t call it handicap accessible either.
Beautiful views and very peaceful, had a great time.
Clean, peaceful stay

North Shore Camp: Ace Family Vacation
The cabin is very beautiful and in a beautiful location. To help improve the location, I think a gate should be placed on the lower deck before the dock to the water to help keep younger children who are at the cabin safer. I also think a taller railing should be put on the lower deck as a small child could easily look over it and fall in and it does not help to keep an adult from falling in if they lost their footing from looking out. I think the property should be looked over to update anything that could become a safety issue as we had 2 small children with us and there were certain things such as the railings, the gaps in the rails walking down the stairs, and there not being a gate before the water that a child could have easily slipped and gotten hurt on. If those things can't be updated, I think the property should be listed as not for children under the age of 8 as they could easily get hurt. Other than that, the property was very beautiful, very homey, very spacious, and had everything we needed to be able to enjoy our stay. The property was in a great location for us to be able to go out and do things without driving far out of our way. I would definitely recommend this property for others and I would book it again for my family.
I’m glad you found the camp is beautiful and that your family enjoyed their stay. I agree with your comments about the railing. I have two grandkids , ages 2 and 4., and we have to keep our eyes on them when on the deck. I am considering rebuilding the lower deck which will include the railing. Thank you.
We enjoyed our time here. The description of the location is accurate.
Beautiful, secluded lakeside cabin
This cabin is wonderful, highly recommended to anyone who wants a peaceful escape fro city life, or just to enjoy the scenic views of Caroga Lake. All accommodations and household items were already there and in great condition, which made for a really enjoyable stay.
