About Angela Strong
My husband and I both grew up in the southern states. Our dream was to move to Colorado. Dream fulfilled!!!
Angela Strong purchased this Cabin in 2010
What makes this Cabin unique
Our family chose to purchase this property because of the majestic views of America's Mountain-Pikes Peak. The road to our property is a beautiful 3-mile drive from the highway with views of mountains and wildlife. Our property feels like you are not near civilization, but you are within 30 minutes to 2 hours for most attractions.

This little cabin in the woods is the ultimate getaway!!!!
The off the grid location is the perfect atmosphere to take in the AMAZING scenery CO has to offer. The wildlife and watching the rain roll in are priceless. It's cozy, comfortable and offers great views of the mountains as far as you can see.
We are very pleased that you appreciate the views and wildlife that our property offers.
Our stay at the cabin was fantastic! Rich was a wonderful host, and Angela made sure we had everything that we needed. The cabin is close to everything fun and outdoorsy in the area, and everyday we did something different; although it was very relaxing just to hang out at the cabin too! Curious the cat made sure we didn't lack for company, and the local wildlife made numerous visits too (deer, elk, even a brown bear!).
My wife and family couldn't have been happier here. The worst part? Leaving for home. We miss it already!
Thanks again Rich and Angela!

Family relaxation vacation!
My wife and I along with our two teenagers & two dogs really enjoyed our stay in Angela's cabin. As the title states, it was a relaxation vacation. We slept in every morning even though I swear the sun comes up at 0500 hours... make sure to have the curtain completely closed in the master bedroom or you'll get that "way to early" sunshine right in the face :-)
The few minor issues we had while staying in the cabin were addressed very quickly. These minor issues would not prevent us from staying here again.
Place to see... Even though we have stayed in the area on previous occasions we did manage to find a new hiking/exploring area. We highly recommend that future guests go and explore the Red Rocks Campground. It's just a few miles north of Woodland Park on SH 67.
The few minor issues we had while staying in the cabin were taken care of very quickly.
We are so pleased to know that your family enjoyed a relaxing vacation at our cabin.
Hiking in our area is amazing. Another amazing hike is Pancake Rocks 67 So from Divide, CO towards Cripple Creek.
I visited this area and rented this cabin because I wanted to get away from the daily stresses of life, and it worked. The cabin was beautiful, the area it was in was very scenic, and Angela was very quick to respond to any inquiries. The only negatives were there was no way to lock the door when I left for the day, and the oven did not seem to work. I hate leaving all of my possessions in an unlocked house when I'm not there through the day, even if the house is in the mountains. Other than that, it was perfect and I hope to visit again and come back to this specific cabin. Thanks Angela!
Thank you for your kind words regarding our cabin. We are pleased to know that you enjoyed your stay. We have not found a good solution to offering a locking option to the cabin. The oven worked for us today.
We wished you would have called us so that we could help you with the oven.
Looking forward to your next visit.
Our stay was very pleasant, close to all we wanted to visit, Owners where very pleasant and were very respectful of our stay, even though their cabin was next to ours we hardly knew they were there, their land Mantance was always done when we where gone.
Happy to know your trip was peaceful. Hope to see you again for your next vacation. Safe future travels
My wife and I were very pleased with every aspect of the cabin. The road is a bit longer than expected, but it soon added to the charm of the location. Which, by the way, is located close to so many great Colorado sites! It was exactly what we were looking for and a great retreat. Angela is kind and thoughtful, and I can't wait to go back!
Thank you for your kind words..... I am so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay at our cabin. Hope to see you again soon. :-)
