Townhouse NOT on Gull Lake
Overall, the townhouse was nice inside, but the exterior was in need of repair. The property was built behind a row of townhouses that were on the lake. These homes blocked rhe view and direct access to the lake. There was about a 200 yard walk around the townhouses to get to the lake. This townhouse is also located off of hwy 371, so there was constant traffic noise. There was also no outdoor patio area for relaxing outside, Not coming back.

"We appreciate your feedback, and I am thankful that I can respond to the issues brought up regarding our unit. Since 2001, when we placed our unit in the Grand View Lodge rental pool, this is the first negative review we have had. I hope this response paints an accurate picture of our unit for future guests.
Our townhouse was never advertised as being on Gull Lake, and as such, it is priced accordingly. Our unit is built behind a row of townhomes which rent at a rate that is significantly higher per night. To be accurate, our unit sits 83 yards from the beach. For guests who want the experience of the lake at a significantly reduced price, our unit should be considered.
All of Interlachen’s property, however, is common ground and can be shared by everyone. Our unit comes with a boat lift, and anyone can enjoy the 750 feet of sandy beach or multiple fire pits around the common ground. We never advertised an outdoor patio.
Interlachen, Gull Haven, and Bay Colony resorts are all located near Route 371, so traffic noise can be heard at times. Our climate-controlled unit decreases the noise, and we believe that the East side of Gull Lake affords the best sunsets and are therefore a reasonable trade-off.
Lastly, Interlachen has undergone renovations to the exterior of the units. Our unit’s exterior renovation will be completed by November 15, 2018. The chipped paint on the exterior of the unit, although aesthetically unappealing, should not have interfered with the experience of the unit. The inside of our unit has been recently painted (2017), and new carpets, mattresses, and HVAC unit were installed in 2018.

Access to Gull Lake
Nice town home close to Gull Lake. Comes with the use of a boat lift, which was great. It would have been nicer if there was a walkway through the other units that are in between the lake and the house so you don't have to go around carrying fishing gear, coolers,etc back and forth. The owner was great, and was quick to answer any questions that we had. He also let us have a later check out time on the last day so we could enjoy another day of fishing. The place was clean but we had to go buy kleenex and toilet paper cause they didn't leave enough for 5 people. And we were wondering why we only had 1 washcloth in one bathroom but later found the rest of linens and towels in the dryer. There was suppose to be a welcome letter with the Wifi information and etc. and someone to show us which boat lift to use but there wasn't so we had to keep asking the owner. And whenever we tried to get a hold of the housekeeper, they never answered and we couldn't leave a voicemail. The place is nice and right off hwy. 371 and does have lake access to Gull and Round Lake.
