In the wilds of Coeur d'Alene, this three bedroom lakefront vacation home, aptly name Paradise Regained, is only 50 yards to a private beach on the lake. Spend lazy afternoons sitting back in bright red lounge chairs, gazing out at the water, or maybe watching for bald eagles. And if you have a boat, park it at your own personal dock!
Surrounded by trees and wildlife, the front of the house sits back on a pretty orchard. There's plenty of room for kids big and small to run around and have fun. When you enter, a spacious and open floorplan greets you, with plenty of large windows that bring the natural light and outdoors in. A rock-faced wood burning fireplace is to one side of the living room, and on the other is Lake Coeur d'Alene. Comfortable plaid couches provide plenty of seating for the scenic, panoramic view. Glass doors lead out to a wrap-around deck where you can while away the hours with a good book, a glass of wine, and pleasant conversation. The deck also has a top of the line Traeger smoker for outdoor feasts.
The newly remodeled kitchen is all shiny, with new appliances and gorgeous granite counter tops. A lowered counter desk area is a great place to check email or search through a cookbook for dinner ideas. The adjacent dining area includes a large oval table with seating for six and more spectacular views. After dinner you may want to wander down to the beach, sit back, and roast marshmallows over the fire pit.
The master suite is located on this level with a queen sized bed, luxurious bedding, hardwood floors and its own picturesque water vistas. The full attached bathroom has plenty of vanity space and a shower/tub combo.
From the living room, head down the unique black spiral staircase to a cozy family room with entertainment center. There's room to spread out and play games, or just sit back and watch movies on the large flat screen TV with DirecTV. A DVD, VCR, and a stereo are on hand for your viewing and listening pleasure as well. Another wood burning fireplace will keep you nice and toasty.
There are two additional bedrooms on this level. The first has a queen sized bed, reading lamps, large mirrored closet and sliding glass doors out onto the lower deck. Another bedroom has two twin beds and also has its own access out to the patio. On this level you will also find another full bathroom and a laundry room. This vacation home will sleep six fun-loving guests very comfortably.
Lake Coeur d'Alene spans 25 miles and boasts over 109 miles of beautiful shoreline. Your piece of this paradise has its own private dock for boat parking or for jumping off into the clean blue water for a little swimming.
On days when you want to venture out a bit, downtown Coeur d'Alene is about 20 miles away. From there you can explore shops, browse art galleries, see a movie, even spend the afternoon on a scenic lake cruise.
Before making the drive home you may want to stop at one of the many dining options in town with everything from fine dining to barbecue to Thai. For meals out a bit closer to the house, make the five mile trip to Shooter's Bar and Grill for local 7th Shot IPA and burgers to please your hungry group.
In winter, skiing and snowboarding are about an hour's drive east at Silver Mountain Resort. Closer to the house, a horse-drawn sleigh ride around downtown is a relaxing and scenic way to take in holiday views of this pretty Idaho town. Spend anytime of year at this wonderful vacation home for a Lake Coeur d'Alene adventure you won't soon forget.
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

This house is quite relaxing, the owners are extremely nice, the property is exquisite, apple trees, plum trees, wildlife,an amazing view of the lake. It needs some updating, and some cleaning issues but overall is a very pleasant vacation spot.
First the view and location were beautiful however the cleanliness left much to be desired. The view was slightly marred by the expansive windows that appear to have not been cleaned in some time. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher upon arrival, trash the previous vacationer in the pull out trashcan in kitchen, downstairs bedroom with queen and upstairs bed area, laundry in the washer and dryer, several dirty dishes in the cabinets and worst of all a giant clump of hair that hindered the drain from draining properly ( I removed it so that our 3 year old didn't have to shower in standing water). For the cleaning fee that applies, I expected it to be much more sanitary.
What we loved about the house was all the windows and the great views of the lake. The sunrises were absolutely beautiful. We're early risers so the sun pouring in early didn't bother us. The home was very spacious with a large updated open-concept kitchen. Our daughters loved the downstairs as they had their own space. We saw wild turkeys and loved listening to the birds on the property. The property was wooded with a nice gravel path down to the lake (the hike up was not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties). The beach, firepit, and pier were great.
As mentioned by others, it's a long drive to town, so make sure you have most of your provisions before you arrive. We made the drive to town twice during our week. Shooters Bar and Grill is a fun place to go for food and drinks and it's not too far away. Enjoy!
