In the wilds of Coeur d'Alene, this three bedroom lakefront vacation home, aptly name Paradise Regained, is only 50 yards to a private beach on the lake. Spend lazy afternoons sitting back in bright red lounge chairs, gazing out at the water, or maybe watching for bald eagles. And if you have a boat, park it at your own personal dock!
Surrounded by trees and wildlife, the front of the house sits back on a pretty orchard. There's plenty of room for kids big and small to run around and have fun. When you enter, a spacious and open floorplan greets you, with plenty of large windows that bring the natural light and outdoors in. A rock-faced wood burning fireplace is to one side of the living room, and on the other is Lake Coeur d'Alene. Comfortable plaid couches provide plenty of seating for the scenic, panoramic view. Glass doors lead out to a wrap-around deck where you can while away the hours with a good book, a glass of wine, and pleasant conversation. The deck also has a top of the line Traeger smoker for outdoor feasts.
The newly remodeled kitchen is all shiny, with new appliances and gorgeous granite counter tops. A lowered counter desk area is a great place to check email or search through a cookbook for dinner ideas. The adjacent dining area includes a large oval table with seating for six and more spectacular views. After dinner you may want to wander down to the beach, sit back, and roast marshmallows over the fire pit.
The master suite is located on this level with a queen sized bed, luxurious bedding, hardwood floors and its own picturesque water vistas. The full attached bathroom has plenty of vanity space and a shower/tub combo.
From the living room, head down the unique black spiral staircase to a cozy family room with entertainment center. There's room to spread out and play games, or just sit back and watch movies on the large flat screen TV with DirecTV. A DVD, VCR, and a stereo are on hand for your viewing and listening pleasure as well. Another wood burning fireplace will keep you nice and toasty.
There are two additional bedrooms on this level. The first has a queen sized bed, reading lamps, large mirrored closet and sliding glass doors out onto the lower deck. Another bedroom has two twin beds and also has its own access out to the patio. On this level you will also find another full bathroom and a laundry room. This vacation home will sleep six fun-loving guests very comfortably.
Lake Coeur d'Alene spans 25 miles and boasts over 109 miles of beautiful shoreline. Your piece of this paradise has its own private dock for boat parking or for jumping off into the clean blue water for a little swimming.
On days when you want to venture out a bit, downtown Coeur d'Alene is about 20 miles away. From there you can explore shops, browse art galleries, see a movie, even spend the afternoon on a scenic lake cruise.
Before making the drive home you may want to stop at one of the many dining options in town with everything from fine dining to barbecue to Thai. For meals out a bit closer to the house, make the five mile trip to Shooter's Bar and Grill for local 7th Shot IPA and burgers to please your hungry group.
In winter, skiing and snowboarding are about an hour's drive east at Silver Mountain Resort. Closer to the house, a horse-drawn sleigh ride around downtown is a relaxing and scenic way to take in holiday views of this pretty Idaho town. Spend anytime of year at this wonderful vacation home for a Lake Coeur d'Alene adventure you won't soon forget.

Vacasa - Vacation Rentals Made Easy:
Professionally managed and cleaned homes
Local assistance 24/7 for emergencies
Secure INSTANT booking
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
The house is pretty secluded compared to being close to town. Yes you have neighbors along the lake. But you are at the end of a dirt road. Definitely quiet. Trail down to the lake is well maintained. 72 year old uncle walked down and up the trail. We saw deer in the yard almost every night. It was a good spot for families.
Had a wonderful vacation. This house is great , clean and the floor to ceiling Windows are so nice! You have a view of the lake from every room in the house! It is a bit of a long windy drive to the house. The dock is great, getting down to the dock is a bit of a hike!
This was perfect for our group of three couples. Lots of space to spread out. And nice communal places to come together.
Pros: a gorgeous location, a beautiful, clean, clear, lake. Beautiful views from the deck. Lots of room in the house to relax and socialize.
Cons: quite a ways from C d'A, so if you forget something it is a long way back to the store.
After a very hectic but exciting high school graduation, we took our family here for a week of celebration and relaxation. The house is just as the pictures indicate and the beach is even better! We had everything we needed in the house and spent a lot of time on the beach. Yes, the trail is steep, but it's very well maintained.
What a great location. We fished and paddled a raft around daily. We hiked and enjoyed the wildlife.
The only house issues we had were small. Bathroom was not very clean and a dirty washcloth was left behind. The master comforter was in the closet all tangled up in the duvet cover.
There are small privacy issues with no door on the master and curtains not covering the bathroom windows.
Overall, this is a lovely rustic home in a very beautiful location on the lake.
Very peaceful place we enjoyed it very much
