This house is magical!
I lead creative writing retreats and I've rented this house several times. My clients always LOVE this house. So many blogs, books, and other projects have been born here. This house has amazing "mana" (energy, power) that leaves everyone feeling so calm and happy. It's a very special place... and I've already booked it for my next two retreats!
This was an amazing home for our family as we traveled to Hawaii from all over the USA to support one of our group running a marathon in all 50 states (saving Hawaii for last to have this gathering). There were eight of us and being able to spread out and have privacy but at the same time be able to all be together without feeling like we were walking on top of each other was perfect. The House was everything and more for a comfortable stay and the local atmosphere enhanced our experience.
Charlotte, thank you so much for opening up your wonderful home and sharing the beauty of Hilo. It was a special week.
You made me very happy that you appreciated my beautiful mansion and the gardens! The place is magical and Hilo is the sweetest place with the kindest people and lots of Aloha/love
Thank you Andy for being so kind!
Perfect for Our Group!
We were very excited to find a property that she'd so perfect for our group. We had 5 couples and 3 single guys on our trip. The house was perfect for our needs! It's over 100 years old but Charlotte has done an amazing job in taking care of this beautiful property. Our guys kept saying "this place is perfect" or "I can't believe how amazing this is".
Charlotte also came by to make sure we had what we needed. She is a very kind and gracious host.
I highly recommend staying here on your next trip to the Big Island!
Aloha Bruce, It was lovely meeting you and your energetic group! I am so glad you enjoyed your stay! Hope to have you back in the near future.
As we prepare to depart in the morning, I am sending our heartfelt thanks for a relaxing stay in your beautiful house. Our whole family fell in love with the surroundings. In fact, our 7 year old grandson called it “the mansion,” and said it was the best part of his vacation! It is a truly calming and nurturing property. Many thanks, Zee Claiborne
