We had a lovely stay Bamboo Bungalow. It was small & cozy but had EVERYTHING needed for a comfortable stay. Beach access very close by. A great getaway from the Honolulu scene. If you're looking for quiet & calm then you've found it. Would stay there again In a heartbeat.
The place was small but comfortable and had all the things we needed to enjoy our vacation. We went for bike rides through the pretty neighborhoods every evening and spent most days at nearby beaches. It worked out great for us, and we recommend it as as a nice place to stay.
The Bamboo Bungalow was perfect! It was in very good condition and was even nicer than portrayed the pictures. While it is a small space, it has quality furnishings and has been well stocked with helpful utensils, products, and beach towels etc. It is neat, clean, and is in a good location for exploring the North Shore. Thank you, Brienn!
My husband, son and I stayed here for three nights in November. It was a great little spot for us. Staying on the North Shore was perfect for us and so much better than the busyness of Waikiki. Everyone was very helpful to us, pointing out different spots to visit, including a spot to snorkel where we saw three large turtles just off the shore! Awesome! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, because with a baby and the portacot set up, it was a little on the small side, but all in all it was fantastic!
We had a great stay! The beach is just a block away and it's a nice quiet neighborhood. All the North Shore beaches are a short drive and there are some delicious restaurants nearby.
We were looking for somewhere on the north shore that wasn't too expensive and where we could make our own breakfast etc. We arrived to find some chocolate macadamias and Kona coffee for us to enjoy on the table with a note from Brienn explaining a few tips about the apartment. We were expecting the place to be tiny, but it was just fine for us - we found it to be really well thought out! The apartment was really clean and had beach towels as well as plenty of clean bath towels for us to use. The kitchen, while small, had everything we needed including fresh sponge, towels and washing liquid. We found it good to open up the two panels next to the door to let in the breeze (they have flyscreens). Having the washer dryer was great. We hired a car so found it easy to get around to the shops and restaurants in Haleiwa as well as exploring the other beaches on the north shore. There is also a popular bike/ running path nearby heading toward Haleiwa if you didn't have a car. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again! Thanks Brienn!
Waialua is full of activities. Skydiving, snorkeling, surfing, swimming, hiking/walking, and even beach side polo matches. Kaena point albatross refuge and monk seal viewing is a highlight. Sunset catamaran rides or if in season the whale watching tour is amazing. There is something for everyone on the north shore.
