This is a two story home with 3 large bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The property has a very large and private backyard with a six person hot tub. The house is located at the end of the street and backs up to a beautiful horse pasture. The house is very well lit with natural sun light. The kitchen has been remodeled with a commercial grade stove, beautiful cherry wood cabinets and granite counters with an eating bar. The kitchen opens to a family room with a fireplace. The backyard has a large patio and an elevated patio off the master bedroom upstairs for a beautiful view of the horse pasture and olive trees.
You can expect to have complete privacy and the entire home to yourself during your stay. The master bedroom has an Eastern King, one bedroom has another king mattress, the other bedroom has a full size bed with a pullout mattress below.
The home is located at the foothills of the Chalk Hill wine region and a very short drive to the Alexander Valley and Dry Creek wine tasting regions. The neighborhood is very well kept and quite. It's a 5 minute drive to the Town Green of Windsor where you will find small shops, restaurants and bars. Don't miss the Thursday night's on the Green with free live concerts, farmers markets, and Tuesday night family movies outdoors from June-August.
The home is clean, charming and private. Proximity to the amazing Sonoma wine region and limitless cycling events, triathons, hot air balloon regadas and great weather will be sure to create long lasting memories for your stay.
We look forward to meeting you.
Professional engineer working for an outdoor products company. I have lived in Sonoma County my whole life and love it here!
Jeff Davies purchased this house in 2009
My home backs up to the county line and a gorgeous horse ranch. It is walking distance to the entry to the Chalk Hill wine region and minutes to Dry Creek and Alexendar Valley. Beautiful views of the foothills from the master bedroom patio.
The kitchen is newly remodeled and looks out in to a very private and large backyard. The hot tub seats 6 people. The neighborhood is very quite, relaxed and respectful.
Jeff and Wendy have an amazing house with an even more incredible backyard. From the bottle of wine when we arrived to the endless towels and jacuzzi, it was a great weekend house. The neighborhood is very nice and it was east to reach many of the nearby wineries.
We stayed here for a weekend. Nice 3 bedroom home with a hot tub. Easy to get to and a great location!
We spent four days in Wine Country and loved having a nice home to come back to every night. This home has a great location near shopping and easy access to the main roads. It was a great place to relax after our action packed days.
Highly recommend staying at this home.
My family of 6 adults stayed for 3 nights. We were all very comfortable and enjoyed our time here.
The kitchen is updated.
The beds are comfortable.
Everything was very clean, even he backyard and deck.
Jacuzzi was pre-heated for ease of use.
Check in and check out were simple.
Great television, very large flat screen.
Owner was nice and easy to work with.
Great location! Chalk Hill and Roth and more right there!!
No complaints here!
This property is located in Windsor (near Santa Rosa) on the east side of Highway 101. Lovely area. The Shiloh Ranch regional park is just a couple of miles away. The house is two story. All three bedrooms are upstairs. The master bedroom has a king bed. One of the other bedrooms has a double bed, the other a king bed. There is a hall bath upstairs and a half bath downstairs. So with the master bedroom bath that makes 2 and a half bathrooms. Plenty of towels in the hallway closet. There is a huge TV screen in the living room (which we did not use). A lovely kitchen is available. This house is on a very quiet street, which I loved! But if you are looking for a party house, think of another place.
The back yard is lovely and well cared for. There is a hot tub there which will nicely seat about six people. It is kept at a constant 101 degrees.
Just pull off the cover and get in! At night, it is best to leave a light on in the porch area on the way to the hot tub lest you trip over the raised decking.
The house inside could of used some cleaning in the following areas: carpets, baseboards, and windows. Admittedly we are fussy and we do notice these things.
Jeff, the owner was very cooperative. Responded quickly to inquiry's and refunded the deposit in just a few days. In our case, he allowed us an early
check-in which really helped us as we were preparing a reception elsewhere and needed to drop off some things. Thanks Jeff!
We stayed here for three nights to attend my nephew's college graduation. We loved the house and the spacious yard and so did the pooches :). The house is super clean and has anything you might need, it is very close to Healdsburg which we love. I hope we can come back again and stay in this lovely house. Owners were very responsive and nice. Thank you! Hope to see you again!
Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us! It made a nearby family gathering much more relaxing and enjoyable…and to be able to settle into the hot tub, fantastic! Five year old grandson has re-named it The Hot Spa and it was the highlight of his week-end stay! The fabulous bottle of wine surely topped off the day for us adults! We will indeed be back!

There are so many Wineries within a 15 mile radius. The small towns of Windsor and Healdsburg both offer weekly evening summer concerts that are family friendly. The Hot Air Balloon Races launch from the local Windsor Keiser Park June 15-16, 2013. And we are right in the middle of all the Vineman activities. If you are looking for water recreation, Lake Sonoma is up the highway and we have lots of parking for a boat or RV right on the property. There is also the Russian River which is 8 minutes away, where you can spend the day fishing, swimming, floating, kayaking and canoeing. The closest coastline is Bodega Bay and Jenner which is about one hour west. It is a beautiful drive past wineries and cafes to get oysters at the coast and watch the sunset from the shoreline.
