20+ years with Bucci Family
My family has been coming up to the Adirondacks for the last 29 years and 20+ of them have been spent at the Bucci's properties. From Wilderness Cove to now Sunset Cove, the attention to detail this family puts into their home is incredible. The property is a great fit for large families as there is plenty of space for everyone to hangout and an especially large kitchen table (we fit 15 people around it!) I love the screened in porch and the back deck so you have plenty of space to relax. They have canoes, kayaks and a dock for swimming. It's a great home base for exploring both Inlet and Old Forge - by boat or by car. Our family will definitely be coming back next year!
We strive to make our property the perfect place for a family vacation. Our families who have been with us for years receive additional consideration such as canoe and kayaks. While our maximum occupancy is 8 persons, we enjoy having our guests share the property for day use with other family members who have rented nearby camps.
Perfect family vacation. N &
We've been coming to Old Forge for the past 29 years, and plan to spend many more. Sunset Cove is the perfect vacation spot. We would highly recommend it to anyone.
Perfect Snowmobile Location
This is a perfect house for snowmobilers. It is conveniently located on 4th Lake right across from Daikers. We have had many good memories from years of snowmobiling here. Anyone with a larger family this is the place for you. The owners keep it very nice and are very accommodating. We miss it and hope to be back in the future.
The Werner family has been the consummate guest for a number of winter seasons. Anyone looking for a peaceful stay in Old Forge with good access to the lake and trails should consider their lead. We look forward being able to offer you the same comfort and convenience.
Relax and Enjoy
This home offers beauty, comfort, quiet and is a wonderful get away. It is spacious and clean with all the conveniences of home. The magnificent solitude and sunsets cannot be over exaggerated. Nature surrounds and a warm campfire overlooking the cove in the evening is the perfect end to any day spent here. The owners are teriffic hosts and most accomodating.
Other attractions in and near Old Forge include Water Safari, a theme park with water slides and other thrill rides for kids and adults alike. Nearby you can visit Adirondack Experience (Blue Mountan Museum) (30 min. away); a truly remarkable display of the history of the Adirondacks, the Wild Center in Tupper Lake (1 hr, 15 min away): an outdoor museum of Adirondack wildlife. For a leisurely summer rafting trip there are several rafting companies that offer trips down the Hudson River gorge. They companies are based out of Indian Lake, North River, and Weavertown (1 hr away). Some of these companies offer aerial zip line adventures. For the more adventuresome vacationer the Black River near Watertown offers a more challenging river ride; class 3-4 rapids. For the winter enthusiast Old Forge boasts McCauley Mountain home of the champion boys and girls slalom teams from our local high school. Gore Mountain is an hour away for those who prefer longer runs and a wider variety of trails. Lake Placid is only 1 1/2 hours away. The town maintains an outdoor skating rink for all to enjoy.
