Why Owner/Property Manager chose Pigeon Forge
We chose Harmony Cabin because of its prime location being close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Its far enough from town to give you the quiet and cozy setting yet close enough to enjoy all of the fine dining, shopping and activities that the Smokies has to offer.

This property is perfect!! It was the right size for myself my husband and two sixteen year old girls. We could not have found a better find than this cabin. It was fully stocked with everything you need to cook. Centrally located between pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Tons of things to do for kids and adults of any age. We took a day and White water ragted. I would highly suggest doing this it was a great experience.
Perfect spot for a weekend family get away.
We loved having this cabin to come back to after days spent hiking in the beautiful Smoky Mountains. The location was great - secluded without being too remote. And all of the cabin amenities were fantastic. We would definitely stay here again!
The cabin was amazing and very clean. The fresh cookies were a nice touch and very welcoming. Although I did have a little trouble with the location of the cabin, not ideal to travel in the winter months, I would definitely stay here again. The many board games and dvds along with access to Netflix were perfect the rainy day we had there. It has an amazing view and the porch was perfect to set on and relax while reading a book.
Nice but a big bee issue
The cabin was lovely when we first arrived.
We did have a bad issue with bees. They must be a nest inside the cabin walls somewhere. We were finding them in our clothes and shoes. It did make our stay a bit uncomfortable due to 2 of the guests being allergic to bees. They did have Epi pens with them therefore it was a little easier. Each day the amount of bees got worse. They were mainly in the basement, but on our last night, they ventured upstairs. Something does need to be done about that.
If not for that issue, the cabin was very nice!!
I have read your recent review and find it surprising with such a problem that you did not call me and complain. If you had, I would have had an exterminator out immediately to find and take care of the problem. However, I can say that guests staying after you had no mention of any type of a bee problem in the house; nor did the cleaning crews that were inside the home. I will say, however, that this is the mating season for the carpenter bees here in the Smokies and because of this they are quite active and you will see them flying around most everywhere. These bees do not make hives and are very solitary insects boring holes into soft wood. The males are out scouting for females; they are not aggressive nor do they have stingers. If there were any carpenter bees in the house they would only have gotten in through an open door. Since you note more downstairs, I would guess that perhaps the door to the downstairs deck and hot tub was left open at some point granting access. I have had someone out to take a look at the house this morning and they find no invasion of bees inside dead or alive and only sighted one flying around outside. There is no hive or bees living inside the walls. Homes in this area are sprayed in the spring to prevent carpenter bees from boring; however, it does not keep them from flying around.
Perfect for our family of 5. Everything clean and as expected. Thanks for a relaxing vacation.
Loved my stay at Harmony ❤️Can’t wait to comeback to this little piece of heaven.
