About Cindy Lam
I am a professional, currently working for the Social Services Agency in the San Francisco Bay Area, and a real estate investor. I currently live in Oakland but originally came from Vietnam with my family in 1981. I grew up in Boston, MA and graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor Degree’s in Finance. After graduation, I moved to the Seattle area for a year but decided to settle in Oakland in 1992, where I raised my two sons, one who is still in college and one who is in the US Navy. I enjoy dancing, checking out real estate, skiing, traveling, wine tasting, and listening to live music, or simply cooking for my family and friends. Why cooking? I enjoy hosting a small party because I enjoy setting a pretty table, playing with the lighting and music, stocking the bathroom with cute items, and making my cocktail and dinner menus. These are all a sort of an artistic exercise that I find very satisfying. It’s a lot of work but it’s just very nice to see everyone dolled up and happy. At the end of the party, I feel I’ve contributed my gift to everyone, especially to my family and friends. I consider myself a great cook and a great bartender. One of things I enjoy most to make is seafood; I also love to mix cocktails with fresh herbs before dinner and then serve red wine at dinner. I know seafood is not supposed to pair with red wine but I like drinking red wine with anything. Who wouldn’t like it, right? Since I am an empty nester and a world traveler, I have always been looking for new places to travel and eat. When I travel whether domestically and internationally or whether staying in a hotel or an Airbnb, I do pay a lot attention to cleanliness and comfort, amenities, and the location of the stay. My utmost priority is a comfortable bed and cleanliness. I don’t smoke. I am very tidy, clean, and respectful with my surroundings. I take my world traveling, dining out, cooking and hosting experience into consideration to provide the ultimate guest experience.

Worked great for extended stay with kids.
Bedding, bathrooms towels, and kitchen posts, and, dishes and silverware were great along with the washer and dryer. Needs towel racks for upper bathroom AND GET RID OF OUTLET SAFETY FEATURE, PLUS MAKE ALL ELECTRICAL OUTLETS THE THREE PRONG type. It was great to have the coffee maker, washer, dryer, microwave, and excellent appliance's and top quality towels. Minor bummer was having the yard clean up being done while we were still there. Overall tough with the kids and all the place worked great for us. A plus was that there were many cooking spices etc. left that we used and an ample supply of paper towels, very welcome.. The only minor complaint is that I had to fix the storage shelves for the pots and pans. The floors were creaky in AM, sometimes good. There were a couple of warmer days and the kids a banded the upstairs rooms and made beds in front of the TV. Overall we we were very happy with the house.
This was a perfect house for what we needed for the week. It sleeps a lot of people or gives a few (we had 4) space to spread out. It was great to have a kitchen (had everything we needed), washer and dryer, comfortable beds, and TV with extra things like Amazon and YouTube. Coming from the south, I was a little surprised when I realized there was no central AC, but between provided tower fans and keeping the windows open, we were fine. The owner was very responsive and helpful with any questions or problems we had. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
Amazing and clean!
The house was great for our little vacation! Very clean!
Charming house with nice views.
We had a very nice stay. Cindy was very responsive to communication. We had a minor issue with the water, Cindy worked hard to get it resolved quickly. The home is convenient to access with easy access to public transportation and grocery stores, etc. Like most places in Seattle, the home doesn’t have air conditioning, but there are fans throughout the house. Unless you are there during a rare Seattle area heatwave, like we were, the fans are more than adequate. We wouldn’t hesitate to rent this house again.
Thank you for the nice review. Hope to see you and family again soon.
Loved this charming home
Loved this very charming home, with all the comforts of home. There is deck on the front of the house where we sat each evening and enjoyed the beautiful view. On a clear day you can see Mt. Rainer from Kent. Any communications we had with Cindy, she was very attentive to our needs. My family absolutely loved this home!!! When in the Seattle area again, we will be staying here!!
Wonderful property with plenty of ammenities
The property was perfect for our trip to Seattle. 5 adults and 1 child easily had enough room in this house. House has newly updated kitchen, plenty of seating in the dinning and living room. The newly attached front deck with the patio table and chairs were perfect for drinking coffee in the morning. The views are great from the hill. House was easy to get to from the airport and within 15 minute drive to the link, sounder is less than a mile down the hill. Would recommend this property to anyone.
