385' Private Lighted Pier W/t-head, W/two 1500 Watt Green Sport Fishing Lights

Spectacular bayfront home on Copano Bay. Located directly on Copano Bay with fabulous views from the home and pier. The 385' private pier is completely lighted with a T-head (w extra green fishing lights), covered area, a kayak ramp, and additional lowered deck (for boats), and extends beyond the majority of the piers on Copano Bay. Two 1500 watt green sport fishing lights at T-head. Lighted fish cleaning station located in fenced in yard.

Big Blue is 3 bedrooms/2 baths and is smartly decorated with all new 2013 furniture, stainless steel appliances, pots/pans, dishware and linens. Everything is New!

Living room (w/wood vaulted ceiling), kitchen (with granite breakfast bar and countertops and custom cabinets) and dining areas (both breakfast bar and dining table) have unobstructed amazing views of Copano Bay. The large open living/dining area has an audio Sonos system with soundbar and subwoofer (which creates a separate sound system or a surround sound from the new 55' Smart HDTV) with additional speakers on the upstairs back porch. The Sonos system is accessible via a wall mounted iPad controller or can be accessed via the Sonos app on any smart phone.

Master bedroom is bayfront with king bed and large bathroom, 2nd bedroom has view of Salt Lake (across road) and has a queen bed, 3rd bedroom is a double bunk bed (four twins). 2nd bath is large w duel sinks separated from bathtub/toilet. Living room has three sofas including a queen pull out sofa. House sleeps 10 in beds. Additional air mattress and bedding are at the home for extra guests. All living/bedroom area is upstairs.

Upper covered decks on both front and back. The upper Copano Bay deck has an outside dining area as well as numerous chairs. Back deck faces pier and Copano Bay and front deck faces Salt Lake (across road). Fenced yard and additional downstairs covered area (with 11' picnic table and gas grill).

We also own the large vacant bayfront lot next door. Guests are able to use it as well and enjoy the privacy of having the vacant lot adjacent to Big Blue.

Kayaks are available for additional rent. Copano Bay and Salt Lake are excellent kayaking areas. Please contact owner directly about renting kayaks.

Our guest have enjoyed the home, the pier, the charm of Rockport, the fishing, the bird and dolphin watching, the night fishing lights, the kayaks, the coast breeze, grilling and the amazing sunsets.

You will love the property. Its a great vacation home. The house was designed and furnished to accommodate large groups, family, couples, and family groups. The home has accommodated numerous families as well as wedding parties, fishing groups, and college reunions. Its kid friendly yet completed in a grown up kinda way. Our cleaning crew are amazing and have thoughtfully kept the home in top shape. We have tried to include everything needed in a vacation rental. About Lory Johnson

We have been visiting Rockport for 40+ years. Copano Bay caught our attention many years ago. We have spent many hours designing and furnishing the home for all to enjoy. The home was completed in early 2013 and was listed for vacation rental for the first time in early June 2013.

Why Lory Johnson chose Texas Gulf Coast

Big Blue on Copano Bay sits on a large lot (and now we own the vacant lot next door!). The lot fronts Copano Bay and directly across the street is Salt Lake. We can sit on any porch of the home and have an amazing view. Fishing and kayaking are awesome. The area is peaceful and the sunsets are amazing.

The house was designed and furnished to accommodate large groups, family, couples, and family groups. We have tried to include everything needed in a vacation rental. We want you to look forward to your visit, enjoy your time there…and make plans to come back soon!

What makes this house unique

The 385' private lighted pier was completed in May 2013. It was the final touch to our bayfront home. Just after completion, a pod of dolphins hung around playing at the end of the pier. Super fun to watch!

I would rate your place as a 5-Star, my family and I had a great time, we enjoyed the beautiful weather. The fishing pier and lights provided all we needed as my family was fishing from 9am to late at night, we may not have caught any large fish, but just the experience of the fishing pier was great enough. The home is lovely, had everything that we needed. I don’t think I can go to any other home and find all of the amenities that your home has, it exceeded our expectations. I would recommend this place and have, to my friends and other family members. We would love to return to your rental property.

Our stay was wonderful and the view of Copano Bay was outstanding. The house was neat and clean upon arrival and the kitchen was well equipped. The gate on the top deck and below by the pier gave us a sense of security for our two year old granddaughter. The owner was easily accessible for any questions. All in all it was a great vacation house. Our only recommendation would be providing a step down to the kayak launch from the pier.

Beautiful and peaceful

We have stayed here several times over the last couple of years. The house is very clean and well kept. The views are wonderful and fishing is fun off the pier. It is not far from town if you want to dine out. The owner is always pleasant to deal with. We will return for sure.

Wow! what a great home so beautiful, and so clean. All of the beds were very comfy and cozy. My family and I really enjoyed the Gorgous view from the second floor and the long pier. We also had some luck catching fish. We'd recommend this home to anyone who wants to get away relax and have a great time. Can't wait to come back again.

Another Amazing HomeAway Vacation!!

We just returned from another wonderful HomeAway vacation! We stayed at this beautiful home with my husband's parents. We had such a wonderful time here. The homeowners attention to details was perfect! We've been to Rockport several times and this was the best! We particularly enjoyed the wonderful, long pier and the kayaks. Also, the crab traps gave us a lot of crabs. It was truly a great experience and we highly recommend this property!
