You will find peace and tranquility in this spacious family & pet friendly home. The split floor plan affords privacy and its casual ambiance boasts plenty of light, tile floors throughout, spacious lanai with pool, hot tub and barbeque. The Great Room is equipped with cable, eat-in kitchen and bar. The living room and dining room open to the lanai, perfect for entertaining.
Away from the maddening crowd, yet close to everything. Located on the south of Marco, you are in peaceful residential neighborhood with beaches, shopping, dining and nature preserves close-by. For the boater there is a dock, lift and fish cleaning station plus you are just minutes away from the Gulf of Mexico.
One of the main reasons for buying the house was its location. It is situated at the very end of a court. (All roads indicated as a CT. are on the water.) Being at the end of the road, when on the patio, pool area, there are no immediate homes on the left or right sides of the house, therefore, you have more privacy, unlike those situated in the middle of a block.
This property was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed and more. The pool/ hottub was a plus. Alot of good resturants close by, and a great ice cream shop called Sweet Annies. We had a great time and everything that you want to do is close by.
We had a wonderful time in Marco Island staying in this beautiful home. Everything that we wanted or needed was already provided in the house. Best vacation ever.
One of the best properties we have stayed in on Marco.
Spacious, airy interior space with great outdoor space.
Nicely decorated and well furnished.
Great central,but quiet, location.
Only disappointment was pool maintainance, nothing for 8 days and then only came after a call to the property agent.Pool guy said he would return 4 days later on the Friday, but never appeared.
We enjoyed every moment of our vacation. It was our first house rental . Having a private pool is priceless. Not having to put up with other people's music or splashing and screaming kids really makes it so much more relaxing.
I really enjoyed the dock and being able to drop the kayak in right at the house and take off. I caught Snapper Catfish and Spinner Sharks right off the dock. I took my net down to the next bridge and caught 6 inch greenbacks for bait with my cast net. One day I even kayaker out to Dick man Island.
My dad us elderly and it was great having all the amenities right at the house. We almost lost him last winter and being able to go fishing with him again made the trip for me.
My Mom , Sister and wife loved the place and the proximity to shopping.
My sister even crossed the airboat ride in the Everglades off her bucket list.
My dogs loved meeting the neighborhood dogs which visited daily as well as going to the dog park right around the corner.
Every member of my family ( human and canine) could not of had a better vacation.
I will definitely be back again.
My family just returned from a wonderful and most memorable Christmas in Marco Island. We have 2 daughters that live in Naples, FL and 1 daughter who lives Baltimore, MD. My husband and I live in Minnesota, where we raised our family. My daughters didn't have enough room for all of us to stay so I decided to try to find a place where we could enjoy the holiday. I never thought we would find a place like this. Everything about our stay was top notch. We had more than enough space for us all to enjoy as my husband's parents also joined us for a couple of days. One of my favorite features of the home was the floor-to-ceiling windows/glass doors in the back of the house that opening to the outside pool area. Every morning I enjoyed waking up and opening the doors to let the outside in. We spent a lot of time sitting outside by the pool. We also enjoyed the dock where we fished nearly every day. One night we even had the pleasure of dolphins swimming under the dock. I loved the open feel to the home with the kitchen in the center of everything. We cooked a lot of meals and used the grill often. The owners and the manager were very helpful and very easy to work with. Don always responded quickly to my e-mails and phone calls. We were hardly on our way back home when I received an e-mail from Don asking for our address to mail the security deposit back to. We also met many of the neighbors who were all very friendly and fun to visit with. The one thing I would recommend to anyone staying over a holiday or busy season is to book any activities you may want to do early. We had hoped to rent a boat/pontoon but everything was booked until after the 1st of the year. With our daughters work schedules, we didn't know what was going to work but it made it a little difficult to book any activities once we were there. We enjoyed the beach a couple of days and the weather was nearly perfect every day. This house is a gem and we will definitely stay here again if we go back to Marco Island for another stay. Don't miss out on a wonderful opportunity to stay at this home.
My Husband and I take our kids once a year to Florida for a week. We pick up my mother and fly my Niece down to visit. We look forward to this all year just to get away from the hustle and bustle of our everyday life. We live in Illinois and will make perfect "Snow Birds" one day!
After we inquired about this house and seeing the beautiful pictures we decided this was the one for our 2014 Thanksgiving vacation. The pictures are beautiful but they do not do it justice. The open floor plan is so beautiful and the woman of the house has amazing taste in furniture and décor! The entire house is equipped with everything you could possibly need. This even includes what you would need to cook an entire "traditional" Thanksgiving dinner with Turkey, Ham and all the fixings!!!
I tend to be more of an early bird than the rest of my family as this is my routine the other 51 weeks a year due to my work. Going out onto the lani in the early morning is something I found quite peaceful. Having the bay in the back yard makes for seeing wildlife quite easy. And taking a dip into the hot tub and pool that early in the morning just has a level of serenity about it that I couldn't achieve here in at home.
Now, my husband and kids love to fish!!! My oldest (17 this year) couldn't think of anything else when he found out the bay was in the back yard and he would have his own private dock to fish off of. I was able to watch them have a blast all week on that dock. At night we noticed there were jelly fish just below the surface of the water. Fish would swim through them and they would turn different colors. It was quite amazing to watch since that's not something you get to see in Illinois.
Don (the owner) and Lynn (the property Manager) we very wonderful to deal with during the entire rental process. From our first contact with Don about renting the house, our contact with Lynn once we were heading down there and, through our final contact with Don in regards to receiving our deposit back (Which was very quickly) we felt like we have know them for a very long time. All of the neighbors that we spoke to were so nice and helpful. One of them even gave my husband the "Where to guide" on fishing on the island. My husband and the kids were able to find other places to fish to find some more interesting fish that weren't necessarily hanging out behind the house at the dock. We look forward to spending our next vacation there!!!
Sincerely the Nierstheimer's and Dunlap's
