Imagine the feel of a European getaway located in the heart of downtown Missoula. Original terrazzo floors, clay and exposed brick walls, a bathroom clad in marble and subtle colors help you relax the minute you step in the door. At 649 square feet, this unit is furnished with antiques, antique lithographs and European mounts in the style of Georgia O'Keefe. It has an open living area with views of the Clark Fork River, Caras Park and the mountains surrounding Missoula. The Clark Fork River Market (farmers market) is on Park Level, as well as numerous activities and concerts at the Caras Park Pavilion. On Park Level, Scotty's Table is located, offering fine dining for lunch and dinner. On the Higgins Street level, the historic Wilma theater hosts numerous concerts and independent films on a regular basis. Within the block, there are distilleries, bars, restaurants, live music locals, banks, coffee houses, yoga studios and numerous other enticing offerings.
Within the unit, the living room is open to a two person dining table and the kitchen, all with epic views to the river and mountains. It is centered on a fireplace and television. The kitchen has a compact refrigerator, two burner stove, microwave, countertop oven and most amenities for a comfortable short or long term stay.
On the backside of the fireplace wall is the bedroom, which shares the same gorgeous views of the river and mountains as the living and dining areas. A plush Four Seasons king size mattress, premium thread count sheets, down pillows and comforter await you. A flat screen television is located in the bedroom as well. (The pull-apart sectional couch in the living room can accommodate one or two people/children, depending on size, for additional sleeping space; one leg is 36' wide by 6'-6' long and the other is 24' wide by 5'-5' long.) The bathroom has heated marble floors, a tub/shower and a luxe feel (we do not provide toiletries).
The unit has solar shades and insulated, lined wool drapes. A portable air conditioning unit and oscillating fan offer respite from summer heat. In the winter, a radiator provides the primary heat for the unit, with a secondary unit available to ensure the perfect comfort level for you.
A dedicated parking space is always available for you on Park Level. If staying long term, there is an additional storage space for a mountain bike or kayak. Coin-operated laundry is also available on the Park Level.
Our goal is that your stay is relaxing, inspiring and unforgettable...and we'll do what we can to make it that. Come and stay with us.
My wife and I own another unit in the Wilma (The Vantage) and love hosting guests from near and far. We travel frequently and love unique authentic lodging that contributes to the mood and culture of a town/city making it unforgettable. We hope to offer you the same experience in Missoula.
Property Manager 2 purchased this condo in 2013
There's no better place to watch Missoula go by than from the Wilma. The location is both urban and fully connected to the amazing landscape that encompasses our town.
...My boss, Reggie Watts, stayed in your apartment last month. He really loved the mattress and sheets and was wondering what kind they are...
My friend and I traveled to Missoula for the marathon and The Wilma is the PERFECT place to stay for the race. Packet pickup and the race finish were right outside out door. We also enjoy the Saturday morning farmer's market and walking to all the local attractions. Chari was absolutely warm and wonderful. She met us at the apartment very late at night (almost 1am) and made sure we had everything we needed before she left. The apartment is an efficiency so the bedroom and living room are mostly one (separated by the fireplace). It might be tight with 4 people but it is perfect for 2! I would most definitely recommend staying at the Pronghorn at The Wilma!!
An overall beautiful and relaxing stay in Missuola. The condo made the weekend extra special with views of the montains and small river. We enjoyed hiking up the M trail and visiting the farmers market, both located right across the street. The condo itself was extremely comfortable with lots of windows we could open in the morning to let the cool breeze in. I would stay here again and recommend to any friend visiting Missoula. Chari was great to work with as well, she meet us in the condo lobby to greet us at check-in with the keys and went over the details to ensure we would have a perfect stay.
Perfect location in a gorgeous apartment in an updated vintage building. Owner was readily available by texting for recommendations regarding shopping, dining, walking. Amazing views over the river and onto Higgins St. The apartment really made our stay special.
I lived in Missoula for 9 years, and I love to visit whenever I can. This year, my wife and I decided to make a trip to Missoula to visit friends and celebrate Christmas. I've always loved the historic Wilma theater, and we were excited to book lodging in one of the re-modeled rooms. The owners/property managers were easy to communicate with and were more than willing to meet us and check us in on Christmas Eve! The Pronghorn is very well decorated, comfortable, and the bed is awesome. The views of Caras Park, the Clark Fork River, Mount Sentinel, and Lolo Peak were amazing and afforded me a perspective of Missoula that I have never had before. We would definitely stay at the Pronghorn again!
This is the 2nd time we have rented this condo and with good reason; it is in the perfect location for walking everywhere and it is very comfortable. We stayed there with our two boys, ages 11 and 17 and we had more than enough room.
They pronghorn is a fantastic place to stay during a visit to a football game or downtown Missoula. Extremely comfortable. High quality bedding and towels.
The only negative I have to say was that there was no shampoo or soap provided in the bathroom.
We are definitely planning on staying here again!
From this unit overlooking the Clark Fork River and Higgins Avenue, enjoy parades, Brennan's Wave (kayaking wave), sunrises and sunsets, festivals, restaurants, bars, distilleries and micro-breweries, shopping, farmers markets, film festivals, the Missoula Marathon and walking along the river (for enjoyment or to an event at the University of Montana). On Saturday mornings from May through October, pop down to the Clark Fork River Market to grab local produce and return to the unit to make breakfast. When you need a niblet, head downstairs to Park Level, to Scotty's Table, an American bistro serving exceptional food. Take in a movie on street level at the historic Wilma Theater. Additionally, multitudes of yoga and pilates studios are within blocks, as are numerous coffee houses, spas and fly fishing shops. You'll find plenty of ways to entertain yourself just out the front doors of the Wilma.
