Villa 3 Bedrooms, 3.5 Baths (Sleeps 6)
Exquisite Villa in Historic Centro - Pure Poetry - Three Private Bedrooms; Three and a Half Baths (Sleeps Six)
This magnificent villa has it all -- 'Relais & Chateau' charm; prime 'Centro' location; a million-dollar view; and full amenities, including purified water system, air conditioned master bedroom and English-speaking house keeper/cook.
Perfectly located between Parque Juarez and the Jardin (main square), and a short walk from San Miguel's best shops and restaurants, this beautiful home enchants at every turn. Before you enter, take a moment to enjoy the beauty and charm of the street. The old church two doors down with its serene flower-filled courtyard; the ivy-covered mansion across the street, the purple bougainvillea that frame the front door.
Step inside, and the magic continues. To your right, off the entry foyer, is the first of 3 beautifully appointed private bedrooms (this with queen-size bed), all with en suite baths and fireplaces. To your left and up a winding staircase, a 2nd secluded bedroom with two double beds. Ahead...a glimpse of sunlight, the scent of flowers and sounds of a gently trickling fountain beckon you up four steps to the house's charming central courtyard. As you glance upward at the butter yellow walls, the beautiful French doors and windows, the flowers cascading from every level, you could be anywhere...Tuscany, Provence, or San Miguel Allende.
From the courtyard a pair of French doors lead into the sophisticated Living Room with fireplace, a perfect place to gather in the evening to exchange stories and admire the day's purchases. A short flight of stairs takes you to the kitchen, dining room and powder room and, overlooking it all, a sun-fill den/TV room with adjacent breakfast terrace. The modern Mexican-tiled kitchen has a large center table which opens onto the dining room where a stone wall and cloud painted ceiling add atmosphere for convivial indoor dining. Atop the terrace and the central courtyard, is the master bedroom suite with king-sized bed, air conditioning, fireside sitting area, and large, luxurious bath.
Capping it all are two magnificent flower-filled terraces with breath-taking views of the city and surrounding countryside. One shaded, with outdoor kitchen, large dining table and chaises, the other, basking in sunlight. Whether lounging by day amid the lavender blossoms of the Jacaranda trees or dining al fresco with the twinkling lights of the city spread before you, San Miguel and Casa Rosa-Marguerite will enchant you with their magic.
Fully staffed, English-speaking cook, washer/dryer on premises, purified water system, cable TV, high-speed wireless internet.

A beautiful private home close to the center of San Miguel de Allende
I was amazed at the beautiful home that my daughter booked for me for my 80th birthday.
My daughter, son and I stayed at this private home that has 3 private bedrooms, a wonderfully appointed kitchen, several quiet sitting areas, three outdoor sitting areas that have amazing views of the City and furniture where you can read, take a nap or simply relax. It's a quiet home. The house is beautifully furnished and very clean. I would recommend this home to anyone who wants to stay in San Miguel. It is a short walk to the center of town. I felt very safe when walking on the streets. My suggestion as to renting this home for a short stay or long stay is: GO.
Thanks so much for your wonderful review. It was. Pleasure to have you glad you liked it. Steve
Great house. Great location
We had a lovely stay in SMA! Lola is an incredible cook-the arroz cob pollo with rajas con crema was amazing! The house is well stocked for visitors, the location is quiet but really easy access to all of San Miguel. We look forward to returning soon!
thanks for your kind review we look forward to having you again steve
The house was everything and more than we expected. It was beautiful comfortable and perfectly located close to the center and the views over the city were amazing. A luxury experience in every sense Allison
the house was absolutley beautiful perfectly located in centro and Lola the housekeeper made our stay feel like well connected natives, the house offers complete comfort luxury and beauty with 21 st century amenities a fantasy... highly recommended karen
My husband and I with our two children recently stayed in this lovely home in San Miguel. We loved it the moment we arrived. We were met by Sofia who worked for the property management and she gave us a tour and debriefed us about the house ie. How to work the three gas fireplaces, stove etc. The house was furnished with local art and antiques. Each room was comfortable and the outside sitting areas were lovely with lush vegetation and beautiful flowering plants. There are four patios/ seating areas and we would move from one to another depending on the time of day and whether we wanted to enjoy the sunset or the more immediate surroundings.
The bedrooms were all very comfortable with quality mattresses and bedding. Each bedroom had an ensuite and were full of character with Mexican tiles in the bathrooms and artwork on the walls. The master bedroom had a gas fireplace and the other bedrooms had woodfire places that we were told were for show only. They did add character and as it was chilly in the evenings the space heaters were used in the bedrooms to get rid of any chill. There were also electric blankets that were used so no one was chilled. The two bedrooms were across the courtyard from the main house and the master suite. This would be a great set up for couples or older children. Our children who are 10 and 12 found it a bit frightening the first night but by the second night they were fine and enjoyed their bit of independence!
The cook/housekeeper Lola is a lovely person and made a number of delicious meals for us. We felt truly pampered!
The location of the home is spectacular. Set slightly up on the hill it affords a great view of the city along with the various churches. There is a small church two doors away which is very pretty and the street itself is cobblestone and full of character .
We loved our week in San Miguel. It was a wonderful place to spend Christmas. We were able to partake in a posada and also enjoyed the live nativity scene in the Jardin.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us. We hope to be back one day and will certainly recommend this home to friends.
Perfect in every way!
This beautiful house was everything we had hoped for and more. We were celebrating my 80th birthday with my daughters my godson and his wife. The house was so comfortable and gave each of us all of the privacy and comfort anyone could ever ask for. The house is decorated perfectly, each of the patios and decks is more gorgeous than the other, and we really will plan on coming back. Thanks to everyone who made this celebration so perfect.
