650 square feet. Gorgeous, modern, minimalist style. Dishwasher, pots, pans, utensils, plates, cups, wine glasses, wine opener, fridge, ice trays, stovetop, convection microwave oven. Two comfortable queen beds, two desks, large granite countertop, WiFi, AC, extremely quiet building, beautiful lobby with Gray Duck restaurant. Great for large groups or individuals. Two incredibly comfortable Swedish memory foam beds and a roll-away cot available upon request.

About owner/property manager

27 year old who is totally devoted to making short stay apartments work in Saint Paul. Currently have fifteen listings and plan to add more. I love this business because people love the product and I enjoy adding value to people's lives. In my opinion hotels in this city are severely overpriced and I believe this prevents people from having fun. A lot of people who go to concerts, wild games, theaters etc. are forced to pay for parking and drive home after the event. My short stay apartments have enabled thousands of people to thoroughly enjoy themselves in St. Paul without having to spend their life savings at a mediocre hotel room...

Why owner/property manager chose Downtown

Why this property is better than a hotel:

1. More affordable

2. Cleaner (we have hardwood floors that get cleaned after every stay--unlike grimy hotel room carpet).

3. Quasi full-kitchen for cooking

4. Privacy (it is self checkin so you don't have to wait in line or talk to anyone)

5. Streaming TV... I have never stayed in a hotel where you are able to watch Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon...

Why this is better than other short-term stays in the area

1. Superior host. I have hosted over 1,500 people. I have the process down to a science. At other venues you may be at the mercy of someone who is just testing the waters and won't care nearly as much about your experience. I have a co-host, two full-time cleaners, a maintenance person, and multiple people at the building at my beck and call. In the thousands of night stays I have hosted I have never run into a situation where I couldn't make everyone happy.

2. Cleaner. I use professional cleaners and a supervisor. The cleaning quality is on par with hotels (these two cleaners are ex-4 star hotel cleaners) except better because of the hardwood floors.

3. Privacy. I will never bother you. I set all of this up so you won't have to ask me questions and I certainly won't ask you any. The whole process is streamlined in a way where you can go your whole stay without having to talk to anyone.

What makes this apartment unique

This apartment is in the Historic Hotel Lowry Building and you can get a sense of the old wonder of the hotel where FDR and dozens of other world leaders stayed in the 1930s. Truly a beautiful building with lots of charm.

PARKING INFORMATION: Off-street parking: The Lowry Garage (next door) and Victory Ramp (across the street) are easily accessible. Please check their website for accurate rates. Lowry Garage generally ranges from $5-$13 and Victory Ramp generally ranges from $ 4-$20 (both depending on time parked). Street-parking: There is plenty of street parking available during the day, but it can get kind of spendy depending on the length of time parked. Free overnight street parking is available Monday-Saturday between 10pm and 8am the following day, plus Sundays and Holidays. Overnight Monday/Wednesday/Friday you must park on Wabasha Street and overnight Tuesday/Thursday you must park on 4th Street to avoid being ticketed. HOW CHECKIN WORKS When you book the apartment I will send you self checkin instructions (a PDF file). Make sure you read them carefully. In this PDF I describe how to get to a lockbox and also provide a Youtube video link that walks you through exactly how to get in the room.

Great location - modern & clean!

This property is right downtown St. Paul & within walking distance of tons of restaurants, bars, breweries & entertainment venues. Comfortable beds, clean unit, well appointed kitchen. There was even a turntable with some great records! Highly recommend!

This apartment is in a prime location. Just blocks from tons of things (it's smack dab in the middle of downtown St. Paul). Most notable nearby attractions: Xcel Energy Center (4 blocks), Fitzgeral Theater (6 blocks), First National Bank Building (3 blocks), Minnesota Childrens Museum (3 blocks), Wabasha Street Caves (2 blocks then across the bridge), Gray Duck Tavern--featured in Citypages (0 blocks--it's in the building).

This is the perfect spot for someone visiting since it is so close to so many attractions. We recommend taking an uber from the airport (or some other form of transportation other than driving). Parking can get expensive downtown St. Paul and there is no need for a car since the building is so close to everything and Ubers in the area are reasonably priced.
