About Greg & Cathy Ford
We are outdoor enthusiast. We have been in the property management business for over 10 years and own business. We sold our home in Maine to venture into the hospitality industry in October 2017. We purchased the property and moved in and have been extremely happy. We are also in the process of purchasing another lodging environment at 2026 North Main St. in Pittsburgh New Hampshire. We are fulfilling our dreams and I’m looking very much forward to enhancing our life with all of our guests and future guests.
Greg & Cathy Ford purchased this Lodge in 2017
Why Greg & Cathy Ford chose Pittsburg
We visited Pittsburg for an overnight stay and loved it so much that we sold our home in Maine and have been residing here since October 2017. The peacefulness and atmosphere and the friendly nature of the community was what sold us in this area and we have not had so much peace in many years.

Remote cabin benefits without the remote cabin hassles
We came to snowmobile and stay in a nice cabin and it was perfect for our family. Scenic, secluded location but still close to Rt 3, fantastic cell service (Verizon) as well as wifi, an automatic backup generator so we had power even when most of Pittsburg lost power, and less than a half mile of single track snowmobile trail to the cabin before you got to a good trail to either First Connecticut Lake or Magalloway Rd depending on which way you turn. Our kids loved staying upstairs and the two bedrooms downstairs were very nice as well. We plan on returning next year!
This is a beautiful property in Pittsburg, NH.
The property owners answered all emails on a timely fashion. The cabin was extremely clean and well taken care of. Every quiet setting.
We had an amazing time at this clean, comfortable Cabin for an anniversary get away. The owners were super responsive and the cabin was amazing!! thank you so much for a perfect getaway with no problems at all!
From my first inquiry, til the day we left, Greg was as helpful and quick to respond as anyone on the planet. The home was exactly as pictured, with absolutely every thing any one could want for their stay.
The home sits about 1/4 mile from the end of the power lines going north, hence at night no traffic, and during the day, very little, except weekends, when there was a large group of dirt bikers, canoers and the like, heading out to the wilderness.
We spent most of our time up in the woods birding, and found an excellent number, even though we had both missed and were early for prime birding. Monday to Friday we were alone out there, hardly ever seeing or hearing another soul.
The house is at the beginning of Moose Alley, and we saw moose every day when we headed out at 0530. Turkeys as well, a young fox, a mink, a turtle, and others. Just what we were looking for.
Returning to our vacation home at lunch, then naps, perfect relaxing week.
Thanks Greg for a great time.
A Cabin Away from A Cabin
This Pittsburg family-friendly cabin is the perfect retreat for relaxing in New Hampshire. The interior of the cabin is rusticly decorated and the high ceilings and wooden beams in the main living room add to the beauty and charm of the cabin. Having three bedrooms and two bathrooms makes it comfortable and gives everyone their own space. There is also a beautiful porch to sit, relax, and to cookout on. It is also located to in great spot near the lakes and small shops in Pittsburg.
