This house was a mood changer

  • 5 of 5

Just finished three weeks in Teton Valley. This house was perfect for our extended stay. Love the decor as we do fly fish a lot. Getting a little tired and could use a deep clean. Best for us was the isolation from everything and the quite mornings and evenings and views that constantly change. Highly suggest consideration when looking for a place in Teton Valley.

Excellent place for summer vacation!

  • 5 of 5

This house does not disappoint. It was our second stay, and we highly recommend. The views from the house are amazing! This location is the best - you have the lower pace town of Driggs that has great restaurants and a wonderful local rodeo. Jackson is a short drive as well as Grand Targhee and Teton Village. The other great thing about being in Driggs is the easy access to Yellowstone. A day trip can be done to Yellowstone, and you can see a TON in one day. We love this area - so many activities or you can relax at the house and enjoy the indescribable views of the Tetons. We enjoyed being here over the 4th or July - it was quite warm this trip as the Valley was experiencing record setting heat, but we truly enjoyed spending a holiday in Wyoming/Idaho. The fireworks display in Driggs lasted 30 minutes and was one of the best I've ever seen. It could possibly be the be the best way to have your own private fireworks show from the porch/hot tub. The house is equipped with everything you need. Fully functional kitchen with a fabulous grocery store within a few miles. Our family is making a tradition of summer vacation here. You won't be disappointed! From nice linens to ample space, this house leaves no detail behind!

Perfect home, location and spectacular views!

  • 5 of 5

From the moment we pulled up to the driveway, we knew we chose the perfect temporary home for three weeks. The pride the owners take in their vacation rental was evident in the attention to detail & cleanliness. The photos here are true & accurate representation --tastefully decorated and updated home. The well-stocked kitchen had everything you need, from the array of pots/pans to spices & staples, to ample paper goods (paper towels, etc.) & cleaning/laundry supplies. We enjoyed using the grill outside, eating our meals on the picnic table right on the porch. We loved the open concept layout, and the views--out of every window, you can see spectacular views of either the Tetons, other surrounding mountain ranges, and the open fields. The huge wood-burning fireplace in the living room made for warm & cozy nights (& during cold days too), and there was more than enough firewood provided outside. The master bedroom was spacious, king-sized bed with warm, thick comforter, complimented by a fireplace & loveseat. The other bedrooms were also nicely furnished & comfortable. Bathrooms were updated & nicely decorated. The upstairs family room had a very large picture window that offered a grand view of the Tetons--the perfect place to admire the beauty from the couch or the giant bean bags!

The location is quiet and awesome, providing an exceptional view of the ‘back’ side of the Tetons as well as the peacefulness of the surrounding open fields. It was wonderful to watch the storms approach/pass (and have resulted in some fine time-lapses!). Our four-legged family member loved the space and freedom to explore, though the mooing neighbor cows kept her at bay at times. The home offered great respite for us after long days of travel, from the relaxing wooden porch swings to the well-maintained hot tub in the rear, or just settling in the soft couch or loveseat in front of the crackling fire. The only problem we encountered was the weak signal of the wireless internet, since we needed to work from the home, but that was quickly remedied. The owners were wonderful to work with, easy communication and answered our questions promptly. This wonderfully appointed home is one of the most beautiful rentals we’ve ever stayed in & offer so much. We would definitely consider staying here again when we return to the area. Thank you, Hopkins family, for allowing us to make this our home away from home! (Be sure to try Teton Thai & Seoul Restaurants--both outstanding!)

Perfect Location, Beautiful Home, Incredible Views

  • 5 of 5

This was our second year visiting Teton Valley to ski at Grand Targhee. The first year we stayed off of Ski Hill Road with the intention of being closer to the ski area. Although a nice place, it lacked character and views. We spent a lot of time going through all the options for a rental in the area that would satisfy our need for a well rounded vacation. This home was simply perfect. From the minute we arrived, we felt right at home. We met the caretaker shortly after we arrived and he was available to ensure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. The views of the Tetons in the mornings and evenings were breathtaking. It was so nice to relax and watch the sunrise and sunset everyday with the most spectacular show of light on the Tetons. The house was very well laid out with the bedrooms on the second floor and a gathering area that had huge comfortable bean bags to kick back in front of a large picture window looking out at the mountains. No expense was spared on the comfortable beds and high quality linens and towels. There were even large thick towels for the hot tub. The main floor was very nice with a great kitchen(it had everything we needed), dining room and very comfortable family room. One of the biggest highlights was the wood burning fireplace. The room included two very comfortable couches and an HD TV. The home is beautifully decorated with amazing detail that brought out the essence of the Teton Valley. The hot tub was well maintained and we used it every evening after skiing. Driggs was only 3.5 miles away and Victor was worth the 12 mile drive to visit the Moonshine Liquor store that had an incredible selection of nice wines. The local Vodka distillery is right down the road. Even if you do not drink alcohol or specifically vodka/bourbon, you would still be fascinated by the tour. They have won national wards and are a local business. Of course the skiing was amazing, we love the local feel of the Grand Targhee Ski Area. They have every level of skiing and we enjoyed being up on the mountain daily. The extra five minute drive to Targhee is so worth it when you wake up to a view of the mountains. If you are considering a trip to the Teton Valley, this is in our opinion one of the highest quality VRBO's that we have ever stayed in. We will definitely come again and have already recommended it to close friends and relatives.

Grand Targhee Ski Resort

This spacious, newly remodeled home sits just minutes from downtown Driggs in Idaho's view corridor. Whether you take in the view from a cozy rocking chair on the porch or the outdoor hot tub, you will be in heaven gazing at the majestic Grand Teton!

Our home in Dry Creek Ranch is centered in the Teton Valley (or as my husband calls it 'the fly-fishing mecca' where young boys become men) with short drives to the South Fork, the Henry's Fork and the Teton River where you can catch cutthroats, brown trout, brook trout and rainbow trout.

If fly fishing isn't your thing, enjoy many other activties including horseback riding, hiking, kayaking, ATV rides or mountain biking.

With winter comes even more adventure, as this amazing home is minutes from epic powder skiing at Grand Targhee Ski Resort and a short drive over the pass to Jackson Hole Ski Resort. Also enjoy cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and tubing near by.

For the less adventurous types or if you just need to do some relaxing, we have that covered too! The house is equipped with 2 GIANT flat screen TV's and lounging areas, WIFI, multiple fireplaces, a fully stocked kitchen, cozy rockers for some porch sitting, and a outdoor hot tub.

Book now and start planning the journey to Dry Creek Ranch whatever time of year and the memories made will carry you through until your next visit!
