We absolutely loved the cabin. We felt right at home. It has everything you could need and more. The view is amazing (the mountains, the sunset from the hot tub, the stars at night.) Perfectly centered between Yellowstone and grand Teton national park. Atv riding through the mountain trails was such a memorable part of our vacation. Thankyou so much for sharing your cabin with us Fiske and Katy Hopkins. Brad and Beth Brown from Ocala, Florida
I knew Driggs area was a beautiful area, we usually stay in the Jackson Hole area. I elected the Driggs area this year and chose this property for the 4th of July week. As soon as we opened up the door I knew I had made the right choice on the house. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival, the interior has a great floor plan with spacious rooms. The crank angle Windows allows for superb ventilation. There is always an prevailing wind and sometimes gust that will get ones attention. There were toddlers toys and books that welcomed my 10 month old grandchild. The master bedroom is in grand style, as well as second bedroom and third bedroom with bunk beds. spacious closets, big bathrooms and new washing machine and dryer for your needs. On the exterior the covered porch on 3 sides sets the tone for the scenic views! On the south side where the grill and picnic table is could serve a party of 6 easy! The prevailing SW winds made this area our favorite area! The Teton views and Big Hole mountains give grand views from 3 sides of the house. But what made it special for me was the peaceful, noise free serenity of the vastness of hay meadows around the home. All I could hear is the winds blowing through the windows. Or an occasional small plane landing at Driggs airfield. Don't be fooled into thinking it is too far from JH area. It's a short beautiful drive, but once you are in the Driggs, Victor area you will opt out of the Busy crowded Jackson Hole hustle and bustle on some days! We stayed at home for 2 days just for the serenity this place has to offer! We attended the 4th of July parade in Victor, I cannot tell you how patriotic and pride filled it made us feel. Unlike Louisiana where most are drunk and rowdy at parades, this is what a family day parade should be like all across the country! And we were supposed to go to Jackson to see their fireworks display that night. Fate would have it we were back at home, but let me tell you. The fireworks display in Driggs was beautiful from the porch and was more spectacular than a display of our hometown with a population of 200,000. I highly recommend this area and property for you! It enjoyed it so much I tried to purchase it, I will be going back and staying here as long as it is available for vacation rentals. I will look no further in the Teton Valley for my next trip to this majestic area !
Four of us stayed here between May 19-26 for a fishing trip. The town of Driggs, Idaho is just a few minutes south of the house, which surprised us all with the number of good restaurants. Driggs is a quaint, though nice town. Broulins Grocery has everything you need. We were there a week and only hot 1/4 of the restaurants in Driggs; Teton Thai was a favorite. Victor, Idaho is less than 15 minutes south of the house, which is where Worldcast Anglers is located. I've booked a guide there named Cam Hopkins for the past three years. He's the best guide I've fished with, although the entire Worldcast team is known throughout the country for being top notch.
I highly recommend staying at Fiske Hopkins home in Driggs! It's more than you'd expect. It's roomy. The furniture is nice. There's a nice, big kitchen and dining area, three decks (one if off the upstairs master bedroom). If you've stayed in Jackson, Wyoming you know the Tetons are amazing. The view of the Tetons from the Idaho side is much better though, and this home takes full advantage of this! This home has a lot of privacy too. It's is perfect for family getaways. I'm bring my wife back out here in the fall. She may not like the idea of trading Driggs for Jackson, although I'm confident she will like it more once she's there. Great value for a great home!
Stayed with 5 guys at the house and had a great time. Very nice layout of the house with a great kitchen. The hot tub was awesome and perfect to relax after a day of skiing.
This by far was one of the best vacations I have ever taken. The house was fantastic. Perfect location, well-equiped, and I wouldn’t change a thing except I would have stayed for more than 7 days. We took day trips, explored restaurants in the local area (fabulous food – and milkshakes to die for), and spent time at the house because it was amazing. My 3 and 5 year old enjoyed the bunk beds and the play area upstairs. The house was immaculate, and I highly recommend this as a summer destination for the non-skiers! We will be back again. This is a must stay property!!
This home is a total gem! Our family stayed here over the Christmas/New Years holidays and had the most enjoyable time. The view from the home (and every window) is absolutely breathtaking and was the perfect way to start and end each of our vacation days. The beds are very cozy and comfortable, we love the large wood burning fireplace in the main living room and the additional gas fireplace in the master, and spending time in the hot tub post ski day was a real treat. Not to mention the beautiful landscape surrounding you from the hot tub/deck.
There is great space and storage throughout the house, the laundry room was a huge help, and they keep detergent on hand (as well as a few other paper supplies including TP and paper towels -nice touch!). The kitchen is also well stocked with everything you could need for cooking -- though there are some great spots in Driggs you should be sure to check out (Warbirds Cafe - amazing beef tenderloin! & Teton Thai).
We skied Grand Targhee most of the week -- spent one day at Jackson, but in hindsight, should have just stuck to Targhee. There was no crowd and FAB conditions. The drive from the house to the mountain is relatively quick and the commute into town -- whether you plan to dine in Driggs or Victor -- feels fast as well.
Our family felt right at home and we can't wait to make another trip back. Thanks for the great hospitality!
This spacious, newly remodeled home sits just minutes from downtown Driggs in Idaho's view corridor. Whether you take in the view from a cozy rocking chair on the porch or the outdoor hot tub, you will be in heaven gazing at the majestic Grand Teton!
Our home in Dry Creek Ranch is centered in the Teton Valley (or as my husband calls it 'the fly-fishing mecca' where young boys become men) with short drives to the South Fork, the Henry's Fork and the Teton River where you can catch cutthroats, brown trout, brook trout and rainbow trout.
If fly fishing isn't your thing, enjoy many other activties including horseback riding, hiking, kayaking, ATV rides or mountain biking.
With winter comes even more adventure, as this amazing home is minutes from epic powder skiing at Grand Targhee Ski Resort and a short drive over the pass to Jackson Hole Ski Resort. Also enjoy cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and tubing near by.
For the less adventurous types or if you just need to do some relaxing, we have that covered too! The house is equipped with 2 GIANT flat screen TV's and lounging areas, WIFI, multiple fireplaces, a fully stocked kitchen, cozy rockers for some porch sitting, and a outdoor hot tub.
Book now and start planning the journey to Dry Creek Ranch whatever time of year and the memories made will carry you through until your next visit!
