This two-bedroom, two-bath retreat is clean, sunny, and close to beach access and town - a perfect choice for those seeking a comfortable place to call home on the Central Oregon Coast! The property is dog-friendly and can easily accommodate a family or a group of friends looking for that quintessential beach vacation.
Located on the south side of the uncrowded beach community of Waldport, this budget-friendly home is close to the best this area has to offer! Start each morning with a walk on the spectacular beach, which you can get to by walking or driving to the wayside at Patterson Creek. Waldport itself offers restaurants, a market, and a few shops, though you could easily drive the 15 miles up to bustling Newport for even more options.
Access is easy for everyone, as this charming and bright house is all on one level and has no stairs to climb at the entrance. Sit and relax in the living room, which features inviting furniture, a pellet stove, and a flatscreen TV with cable and a DVD/VCR player. There's also WiFi access throughout the home.
The large, open kitchen and its appliances, tools, and gadgets are ready to help you whip up tasty meals for your group. Enjoy a hot, filling breakfast before heading out for a morning walk on the beach. You could also head out to the deck and use the gas grill for a cookout, or simply sit and relax while marveling at the ocean views in the distance.
When it's time to head to bed, you'll have your choice of two bedrooms, both with queen beds - the master even has its own en suite bathroom! An additional sofabed means there's enough space for six guests in total, so go ahead and bring the whole family or a few close friends! You're even welcome to bring up to two well-behaved dogs with you (for a small nightly pet fee) - just imagine the joy on their faces as they explore the beach with you!
Since you're in a prime spot on the Central Oregon Coast, this is a perfect time to get out and enjoy the beach! This stretch of coastline is amazing for beachcombing, tide pool hunting, sand castle building, and occasional whale watching. Be sure to drive south for amazing sights - stop at Cape Perpetua, about 10 miles south, for absolutely jawdropping panoramic views. Tiny little Yachats, 15 miles south, is worth a visit, though you could continue south to Florence or head north to Newport for even more fun!

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental managementthings like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
This is a great place to go for a beach weekend! The beach is literally 2 min drive down the street! Will come back again!
This house was close to family who lived in town! The kitchen was adequate for fixing meals and it was great to have space for us to spread out, unlike a hotel room would have been. The cost was very affordable!
There is so much to do on the area- one week is not enough time.
Perfect for our family. Not fancy but very comfortable. Easy access to beach and hiking trails
We were visiting my in laws and the place/location was perfect. My brother in law and his wife complained that the guest room bed was on a tilt, so we sent an email but did not get a response. Other than that the place was right for the price.
