2 bedroom (both queen beds)/ 1 full bath with futon in the living room for extra crash pad if needed. Nestled on a surprisingly quiet street in the heart of campus. Ample off-street parking and literally just around the corner from great food, bars, bands and other nightlife. Easy walking distance to all of downtown Lexington. This spacious apartment also includes free WiFi, TV and access to laundry facilities (washer & dryer). Hardwood floors throughout, with central heat and air conditioning.
There are two full queen beds, each located in a private bedroom. Original hardwood floors throughout give the space character. Modern living space has plenty of natural light and is open to the kitchen area. The kitchen itself has newer, high end appliances and all the pots pans and dishware one could need. Although located in a historic building on a tree lined street this unit has fantastic central heating and air system - you'll be comfortable no matter what time of year!
Washer and dryers are located in the basement and free for guests to use (laundry detergent not included) 24hrs a day. Plenty of off street parking in the back of the building - beware of parking on the street for fear of tickets! Internet and cable television are hooked up and ready for your immediate use. The keys will be waiting for you at your unit upon arrival - we want to make guest access as seamless as possible!
I am happy to interact with tenants, solve any issues, give my advice about local spots, etc. Alternatively, if a guest so prefers to be left alone, I'm completely fine with that too. I go with the flow and am easy to please - so just let me know!
Neighborhood is incredibly quiet for being in such prime location. The entire street is located within the Bluegrass Historic District and is lined with mature trees and a large grass median down the middle of the road (great for pets!). Many homes on the street are registered with the Bluegrass Historic Trust. Location is convenient to downtown, campus, Chevy Chase, Woodland Park and much more - a very desirable area of town. Also just around the corner from nightlife, food, gas station and everything else one could need - if not I'll help you find it!
Close to city bus stops, grocery, shopping, and dining. Walking times to downtown Lexington is about 10-15 minutes; depending on exactly where you're headed. Convenient to campus for families visiting their kids, or academics in for research at UK, etc. Also wonderful location for those seeking nightlife, access to great dining and music. Check out the Lexington Trolley system as well (for rides on the cheap).
