This is such a lovely house set in a peaceful setting. We honestly did not want to leave! A beautiful spacious house that is very well equipped. The pool area is great (hours of fun had!) with a covered eating area as well for shade with fab BBQ! Outside the lanai pool area is a wooden deck to stretch out in the sun or have an evening drink watching the beautiful sunsets, then a few steps down from there is a private floating dock on the very quiet canal that is perfect for fishing. (hubby caught lots of different types!) Not far down the road a few mins drive is a fabulous private beach, again perfect to see the amazing sunsets but lovely for a beach day or picnic under a cabana. The sand is like icing sugar and a safe shallow shore, the sea was very warm. If you want to just unwind and relax you could just stay at the house/beach and not have to explore at all. The house is not far from everything you could need or want, restaurants, shops and places to visit such as Tarpon Springs...you must go there and take the sponge diving boat trip, see the aquarium and eat dock side at Dimitri's. Busch Gardens is about 50 mins away and well worth a day there with animals to see as well as fab coasters and rides (Sheikra and Cheetah Hunt!!!!) We found a casual locals restaurant up the coast a few miles waterside tucked behind a boat yard/marina called Miss Vicky's that was beach side (sunset again!) that had a friendly tropical feel and the fresh caught shrimp were amazing, great wild life to see on the way too at the marine reserve. We also went down South to St Pete's which is a lovely town to explore and eat. As is the area North bound with more nature reserves and places to visit. We can not wait to go back to stay in this lovely house and also explore the area some more. We were not lucky enough to see the dolphins from the house or the beach this time but were told they are there often! There is a huge DVD collection too, something for everyone for the evenings! (Internet connection good.) Christine the British owner is fabulously helpful and friendly right from the start all the way through, thank you so much for sharing your wonderful holiday home. We will treasure the memories for ever.
Kind regards Ruth, Darren and family
This is a very nice house where everythibg works as it should! The house owners answer quickly and informativly at mail or phone before/under/after your stay. In the house you will find all the information you need. We were a family of 4 (kids 12 and 15) and we all hope to back some day!
Christine and Eddie,
Your home was exactly as you have described it. We were six Adults looking for a relaxing place to stay while vacationing.
We all enjoyed staying at your home. It was clean and spacious. The bed rooms were spacious and comfortable! As well as the family room and kitchen, We are first time renters and we were so happy and fell in love with your home. Loved the house with the enclosed pool area and patio area. We spent a lot of time there having our breakfasts and our dinners and just relaxing. We will definitely do this again in the future. You and Eddie have been so great with answering our questions and even calling us when we were reserving your home. Unfortunately we didn't get to see a Dolphin by your dock but my cousin did see a Dolphin in another part of the canal on one of our drives, so we know they are there, this just means we will have to come back again and spend more time there.... :) We did get a chance to visit the private beach and enjoyed our time spent there. Thank you again for being so gracious with renting your home out to us.
Sincerely will be back again!!!
For future renters this is the place to be, I know you will enjoy your time there as much as we did....... All the best.....

What a stunning villa!
Perfect location, quite and easy access to other areas, clearwater just a short drive south, Dunedin is a pretty little harbour town to be visited, lots of great gift shops too.
The villa was clean and well presented, the kitchen was fab, has everything you need to cook a full meal if you wanted. Massive fridge and freezer. 2 dining areas 1 in the kitchen and the dining area to the side of the lounge. more room than we needed which made our stay or the more relaxing.
We used the pool, the water was a little cold in March but we braved it :) we sat on the decking and watched the numerous little lizards trying to hide from us. We also saw the dolphins too :D only once but we spent most days sightseeing, had a couple of days just chilling on the decking and by the pool.
Took a private airboat tour on the Everglades, a must if you like to see lots of wildlife close up!
A great base for a fab holiday, no matter whether you want to spend your time sightseeing or just read a book by the pool, it's perfect for anyone holiday needs.
Great for kids too, the pool is enclosed with a mesh to keep any unwanted 'things' out
Would definitely return in the future
Thank you Chris and Eddie your villa is just fab!
This house fit us great, with my wife and I, plus 2 teens and 2 tweens. We had just the right amount of room, and the great room was a great place to meet to watch a movie on the big, flat screen. The pool was big, but unfortunately not very warm due to the weather. Deck and dock were nice, and I could see how fishing would be good. It would have been nice if the house had some sand toys available. We ended up buying some in a local store, and leaving them. The private beach was small, and is a bit of a hike if you are taking sand toys, or a cooler. It was an easy car drive, and the guards were always nice. The younger kids took advantage of it a few times. Found a few good restaurants for the nights were were around the house, and not cooking. Expect 10-15 minute drive for them.
I'd recommend this house if all you want to do is sit on the beach, fish, boat, or if you don't like being in touristy areas. New Port Richey is definitely not touristy. Tampa, Clearwater, St Petersburg were always at least a 30 minute drive due to distance and/or traffic. Rte 19 is very heavily traveled, and Rte 589 is a tollway ($2.75 to Tampa, $2.50 back). Howard Beach is okay, but not great. We ended up in Tampa (twice), Clearwater, and St Petersburg due to weather not being cooperative, and nothing going on around New Port Richey on New Year's Eve. Thus we did much driving. The New Year's Eve fireworks in Clearwater were okay, as was the Alamo Bowl parade. The manatee viewing site near Apollo Beach was great, and so was the Salvador Dali museum. Also recommend Rusty Bellies restaurant if you like someone to cook your seafood for you, and Trinity Seafood on Little Rd if you like fresh seafood that you cook yourself.
we had a fab holiday a this villa the swimmg pool is very warm and well kept.Rooms are spacious well kept and clean. All appliances are well maintaned and has everything you need. There are lots of dvds to keep the kids amussed. I sayed there with my three kids one 14 one 12 and a 5 year old we all had a lovely time and were in a good central location to be able to visit local atractions.my little boy loved the mini golf just up the road and we enjoyed visting the local beach. the dock at the back of the house was fantastic for the kids to fish off and to watch wildlife. We will be going back ASAP
