About Robin Cavaliero
I grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. We moved to Galveston in 1999 so that we could complete renovations on the house. We currently live in Spring.
Robin Cavaliero purchased this House in 1993
Why Robin Cavaliero chose Lost Bayou
I visited Galveston many times over the years and on one of those trips I went on a historic homes tour and fell in love with the history. I knew that I had to find my special place on this beautiful island.
What makes this House unique
I just love the neighborhood, all the friendly people that live on this block, I think it's one of the best neighborhoods on the Island.

This property is just a few minutes from old down town, from the pier and from the beach. The owner responded promptly to any of our concerns and questions.
I loved that the bathroom had a makeup mirrow
Perfect location and wonderful property!
We loved our stay in Galveston and this property was a perfect fit for us. Great location, close to everything and the house was very clean and tidy. Minor thing that I didn't like was the entrance through the alley. Not a big deal but when you come back late at night it is a little odd. Maybe a motion-sensor light at the gate would be helpful. But overall it was a great place to stay!!!
house was comfortable and clean. it was in a good location. we had no problem with finding a place to park on the street, which was just a short walk down the alley to the house.
The property and location could not have been better. The owner made check in a breeze. Would definitely recommend for couple or small family.
Cozy and Convenient
This property has an excellent location. Easy to reach the seawall and the main street. A little longer walk to the Strand, but easy to find. Home was well kept and super comfortable. We had a great stay would highly recommend to others!
Thanks to Robin for letting us stay in her guest house. It was perfect for our small family. The house was clean, comfortable and within walking distance to the beach. We highly recommend and would love to come back!
The Galveston Guest House is located in the Lost Bayou Historic District. Conveniently located in the east end, within walking distance to the beach and the historic downtown shopping/entertainment district. There is a park with a playground across the street, and a local hangout called Sonny's with the best shrimp on the island!
