My husband Mario and I like to collaborate on all our ventures! Yes, we can't be bound by the 9-5 sort of living while raising our four sons. We are both photographers and own Bella Faccia Foto, you will see some of our photography throughout our casita. We do many things aside from take pictures in the entertainment industry, for me, my most important work is empowering women through service and community. I am a Postpartum Mother Roaster, which means I care for new moms just after birth. My husband's passion ( aside from his mad acting skills) is coffee bean roasting, he has created some of the best coffee blends for Belli Fratelli Roasters, along with toss pizza at famous Vito's Pizza in West Hollywood, which is our brother's business (some of the best pizza you will have in LA). Both Mario and I take great pride in all that we do, and hope to bring you the best experience while staying in Casita Di Donato.
Tnah Di Donato purchased this house in 2001
We lived in the front house on Reservoir for four years, during that time we transformed it into the loving home that it is now. If you want to fall in love, get married, get pregnant.... or simply relax.... this house is for you. We have not only birthed a couple of babies here, we have had three long term tenants get married and pregnant while staying in both of our homes on this property. All we can say is it has great love juju and can't wait for you to come and experience it's good vibes.
This house is very private, and you can walk in either direction down Sunset Bvld. and it is all very close to the freeways 101, 5, 110, and the 2. convenience, convenience!
Went to watch world baseball classic. Picked house for location. Was perfect spot, about 2 miles from stadium and had excellent shops just a short walk away for morning coffee. I would recommend this house. Small and quiet neighborhood.
I had a great stay here! Tnah was lovely - super accommodating, helpful, and communicative. And the place itself was adorable, comfortable and clean. Thanks, Tnah!
We stayed at Tnah and Mario's guesthouse while we were relocating to LA and looking for permanent accommodation. The casita was comfortable and more than ample space for my wife and I, with a great, private outdoor area and the kitchen was replete with every cooking utensil we required. The bed was incredibly comfortable (so much so that I inquired from Tnah about it as I wanted to buy the same mattress for myself once I moved), and there was gated parking for my car, which I appreciated. Tnah and Mario thought of all the little things that made our stay extra comfortable. If you love coffee like we do, you are in for a special treat because Mario has a micro-roasting business and they will leave you a bag of their home roast :) We found them to be very respectful of my privacy, calling ahead to let us know if they were going to be at the property and generally leaving us alone unless we contacted them for anything. I would highly, highly recommend Tnah and Mario's casita for a short or a long term stay.
We had a wonderful week in this cozy and comfortable house in Silver Lake. While maintaining the period details, the owners have made it a well-equipped and convenient place to stay. They left a few key provisions --- coffee, milk, cheese, bread --- so we didn't have to rush out to the store upon arrival. Very considerate. With beautiful morning light in the bedroom and afternoon light in the living room, the house provides bright and comfortable accommodations. With parking being an issue on Silver Lake's narrow streets, the off-street parking behind a locked gate is an additional benefit. We found the location to be ideal for our purposes, which focused around the downtown area of LA. Silver Lake is every bit as hilly as San Francisco, and is well provisioned with restaurants, shops, and services, several within easy walking distance of this house. We would certainly stay here again.
We were very impressed with the casita. It is exactly as pictured on vrbo..
Tnah and Mario are wonderful hosts. We were greeted by a lovely gift basket of cheese, water, crackers, humus, olives, fresh fruit, their own coffee company beans, and fresh cream. Quite a nice surprise after a long flight.😉Mario and Tnah were easy to contact and always replied quickly to any question we had before our stay and even during our stay.
The casita is well equipped with everything you will need. We loved the decor and felt as if we were in a little villa in Italy. We felt very safe during our stay and the driveway with electric gate make it so convenient for parking. No worries about finding a place on the street to park. The little yard, with easy access was just perfect for morning coffee... And we could easily walk to sunset for great food and fun.
We would definitely try to rent the casita in the future. Tnah and Mario are such kind people.. Even though they are busy with their family and careers, they also take the time to make you feel so welcome and so comfortable ..
Many thanks to both of them for a lovely month in Cali👍𣐽 Kristy and Dave
My wife and I stayed here for five nights during Thanksgiving week in 2015. The house was beautiful. Clean, cozy, and comfortable. It was just the two of us most of the time but we hosted Thanksgiving dinner for our daughter, brother, and dad. We cooked the whole thing (okay, brother brought dessert but we could have done that too) right there - the kitchen was very well stocked. Dad is 91 and has mobility issues but he was able to navigate the walkway from the VERY AMPLE parking space (we had three cars in it for Thanksgiving) without any problems.
Our first time staying in Silver Lake and we enjoyed exploring that neighborhood. We walked up to the reservoir a couple of times during our stay. Friendly folks in the neighborhood. Dog friendly. Many restaurants, coffee shops, and bars along Sunset Boulevard to explore. Downtown is only minutes away by car.
Tnah went out of her way to make sure that our stay was perfect. My highest recommendation.
